That gaze, that quirky smile, that persistent stare which unnerves. It is difficult to understand the intentions but the hints are there. In a house a husband and wife argue, fight. A vessel comes flying, a glass breaks. The husband is angry and the wife is upset. That hatred, that ego. The distance that keeps growing. It is difficult to comprehend the damage, but the cracks are there. Feelings… expressions. Misunderstood, unresolved callings of the heart. The cracks are there. Too wide to be missed. Yet when the heart takes over the mind, the outcome is a mindless tragedy. Crime Patrol- Dastak will attempt to look at the signs, the signals that are always there before these mindless crimes are committed. Instincts/Feelings/Signals that so often tell us that not everything is normal. Maybe, that signal/feeling/instinct is just not enough to believe it could result in a crime. Unfortunately, after the crime is committed, those same signals come haunting.

The father is equally responsible for being so uncaring and not understanding the situation his wife was going through. He abetted this crime. And, he has gotten away with it.

He pushed her to an extent that she is irresponsible, unworthy, bad mother wife etc whereas he could have helped her and got her away with that situation.. Instead he pushed her to do crime and got away really very sad episode..I pray to God none of the mom's get into such situation..

Yes you are right Thulasi Her husband was responsible for the cause of his daughter's death indirectly. If he had put his feet in her shoes probably Diya would have been alive today. He should have cooked food for the little girl and should have sung a lullaby for his daughter while she was doing an important presentation. He also should have not called guests at home without her permission but no he was selfish which made the wife so stressed and caused her to have so many panic attacks and hallucinations. There was no use of strangling her neck when the police told him that she had murdered their daughter. The wife should have not thrown her stress on her own daughter. She could have asked one of the neighbors to care for the three year old daughter. While she calmed herself down. After calming herself she could have filed a divorce or separation. If she this probably the infant would have been alive today.

It's too brutal and terrible to even imagine. Nothing can justify such cruelty. Even I felt the urge to kill that woman instantly with the father as well who os equally responsible for this horror.

Ur right..,though in this story,the direct killer is the child 's mother,but indirectly,the husband n the society's misogynistic attitude are the killers ..when both partners are working then both should contribute in house hold responsibility..especially towards the child..just having a maid doesn't help.,when she goes away in the evening then both should take care ,atleast the husband could have managed the child,while she manages other jobs...;but the attitude tht home n the child is solely a woman's duty,thts the problem....in today's situation, all home responsibilities are for both,especially if the woman is working..;tht day read a quote somewhere "we want women to work as if they don't have kids,n we want them to raise kids as if they don't have work"...so appropriate here.....but yes,there were solutions..1-when things were not working out between them,they could have met a counselor n taken advice..2-the woman clearly needed psychological help n both should have gone for tht...but our society's attitude towards seeking professional help in psychological issues ,is responsible
