Hundreds audition, but only a select group will secure spots in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders training camp. DCC director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell oversee the intense audition process and decide which hopefuls will make the team.

I love Yuko! I was rooting for her. So glad she made it. It pissed me off that Judy didn't like her. Even Charlotte was looking at Judy like WTF are you talking about?!?! Yuko learned English fast. So proud of her.

I don’t think it’s fair that Cassie made it through. Others did better than her in the tryouts and they didn’t make it through. I think if she had been anyone else she would not have made the team. I have no doubt she was already learning the routines before trying out and she was still below par compared to some of the others. Even one of the judges pointed out that she wouldn’t have made it through with the knee injury if she was a new candidate, as she was not game ready. They claim that the veterans have to try out every year in order to have the best team yet Cassie with her injury still made it through.

I don’t understand when people say that it was unfair for Cassie to make the team. When the new TCC start, the veterans already know most of the routines and have had at least a year to practice and perfect them. If I were Judy or Kelli and my daughter wanted to try out for one spot, you’d bet they would get it, if they are qualified. It’s not a matter of who’s best at whatever! There are many other factors. Ava, this season, was a prime example. She was a social media nightmare waiting to happen!! Kelli and Judy have a lot of responsibility. I am positive that over the years, they had to go far and beyond for the Dallas Cowboy’s organization. I don’t want to hear that’s their job!!! Trust and believe that they had to do many, many things outside of the realm of their job description to make and keep the DCC successful. Their friends and family members had to step in and help to correct problems without pay or any other compensation because ALL of that comes with the territory!!! When they say Blood, Sweat and Tears, that’s exactly what it was, is and will always be. People who’ve held leadership positions understand this. I’m sure that Cassie had to assist with the DCC long before she was even old enough to try out for the team. She had to have dedication. Unlike people like Alora Rose who breeze through with no desire to really stay on the team. It was just something to do. As soon as she had a chance to leave, Alora Rose was ready to bounce and she did. So because she was a better dancer at the start of TC than Cassie, she would have deserved a spot ahead of Cassie?!? No!!! This is a business. Employers hire people ALL of the time who have more heart than skill or experience because it is the WISE thing to do!!! If It was me and I was trying out for the team alongside a candidate who had personal connections to the DCC (to include the veterans because K and J have now become attached to some of them) I would look at it as though there were only 20 spots available and be happy with that. Instead of going around with a chip on my shoulder because someone may have an advantage. Every candidate has their own advantage. It could be height, build, flexibility, personality etc. That’s why they are told to not compare themselves. The Bible tells us that it is foolish to compare ourselves!!! What God has for you, is for you and no one can take it!!! Be Blessed!!!🤗🕊❤️

I think it's fair she made the team. You saw her teaching choreography just like her Mom. She may work for the organization at some point once her mother retires, and that is valuable. Yeah, there was some nepotism going on, but her strengths may lie in choreography.Nepotism is a reality, it's how the world goes around.

I have always thought Cassie could have used an additional year like Maddie. Cassie ended up being a great cheerleader but I don’t think she was ready this first year.

Can you imagine having to learn these dances with English not being your first language? A lot of guidance and learning is done orally by the person teaching you. Poor Yuko probably was behind because she literally had to learn a large portion of it by watching others. And she still got it. Now imagine not having that hindrance and just being plain jane, aka Cassie Trammel. I'd take Yuko any day of the week.

The biases towards Cassie would kill me if I was on a team with her.I love her and have no doubt in my mind that she did it on her own but let’s be real, you think Judy being her mother didn’t have a part in her making roles she made? Especially her first training camp day back with the hurt knee, the guy was right it’s not fair she got the excuse but nobody else could, extend the same courtesy to everyone. My heart goes out to Victoria, how they handle weight on this team is disgusting to me, I get they’re trying to help but they are insensitive, and u can’t tell her to grow up bc she didn’t feel comfortable with the topic on her weight, she’s not immature, instead they should try gym sessions with the team as a whole

With her black hair Maddie did not look as good almost gothic. When she let her natural curl come out and changed hair she looks beautiful. She also learned how to use makeup. Now she is absolutely beautiful and definitely can dance. Love her sweet personality to. Maddie and Holly P. Are my 2 favorites of all time.

It's a cultural/locational thing. Maddie is LDS from Utah. Which is why her makeup is light and pretty. I also think that's why she comes across as a little awkward. It's probably the first time she's wore a two piece revealing costume. The hair just wasn't working for her. I absolutely love her natural hair though

Victoria adds spice to the group!!! That being said. The TCC ladies from 2021 brought a different vibe to the DCC. Klein, Kaydiana and Tara are very youthful and full of energy. Victoria, Cassie and Maddie,even though they were young when they first tried out for the team, were still a little more subdued. Cassie retired years ago and Maddie just left. It will be interesting to see how the new TCC will jell this coming season!!! Can’t wait!!!!

It's her JOB.... and her job description reads NOwhere in it that she needs to dim her light to make the ppl around her, feel better about themselves. How other ppl feel about her... has nothing to do with her. lol .... jealousy and insecurity is a sickness, and sadly being as talented and introverted as she is... those type of ppl are going to make her a target so they can somehow.. someway.. some day 🤡... "steal" her natural light, talent, beauty, etc... lol even as stupid and loser as that sounds.... instead of focusing on themselves and fixing what they lack, or even what they see in her, and aren't... but want to be.
