Donte was so nice to Chloe. Always putting her needs before his own. Married her, got them a flat, was devoted to her and what did she do in return? Cheats on him as he was preparing a romantic meal for them. Feeling guilty, she runs away, he still searches the streets for her. Then there’s a school fire and she’s trapped, he goes and saves her. They finally get back together and he forks out money to kickstart her career, she’s ungrateful. They have a baby, and she wants to give it away. When I was younger I knew they had problems but I loved them together, looking back at it now I actually loved him. She was ungrateful and didn’t deserve him, not one bit.

@@A.D.540 this isn't about forgiveness, he forgave her many times and each time she broke his trust and did something ungreatful. At that point forgiveness can still be given but that doesn't mean he should go back to her. There is only so many chances you can give someone, have them thrown back in your face each and every time before you loose it yourself! To forgive is great but you also have to look after yourself. 'no one is perfect' yes, but that quote shouldn't make you keep letting someone get away with hurting you till you break down!

Donte wasn't perfect either. He did things without discussing it with her first e.g. renting the flat and moving all their stuff inside without so much as a word about it before hand. And he used their wedding present money without her knowledge too. She had a say on what that was spent on. I know he did it for both of them but that doesn't excuse making big decisions like that without communication and agreement. I would have been upset too if I were Chlo. And the van situation. He did that and borrowed money without telling her. I'm not saying thats equivilent to cheating but I am point out that they both needed to work on things, not just Chlo.

Not many people my age (baby boomer) were fans, but I loved Waterloo Road, particularly the earlier series. I love Chlo and Dante. I don't know if I'd have been thrilled if my daughter married at 16 :) , but I was SO glad nothing happened to stop their wedding, and that Chlo had their baby.
