I just bought one! 1991 BMW 318is with an M42! I expected very little from a 1.8 4 banger but was shocked out how much torque the little guy had.

What is the exhaust setup? Sounds sick. And can you hear rhe itb sound on full throttle, beacuse i am thinking of buying the itbs i am just concerned that it wont have that itb sound beacuse of the MAF...

You can absolutely hear them! Exhaust is custom made. We're going to shoot a video this sunday with the e30

2.5inch exhaust all done by a group member, 1 muffler and 1 backbox, the muffler in the middle is resonated. backbox is there only for the looks haha.

Vraagje, is de RHD ITB kit plug and play voor een E30? Ik heb een E30 M42 met Coil on Plugs en een gechipte ECU en ben aan het kijken voor ITB's om net wat meer pit uit de motor te krijgen. Nu heb ik op forums verschillende verhalen gehoord, de ene verteld dat het een directe plug'n'play kit is terwijl de andere verteld dat het een en andere nog aangepast moet worden. Ik ben benieuwd wat hiervan nu waar is?

what modifications to adapt the mishimoto radiator and what model to take?

I did this in my E36 318 and it wasn't bad at all. It was years ago so unfortunately i don't remember exactly but i think i just had to get some different length hoses and some other minor things to get it to fit right no cutting or real fabrication required. Mine was an e36 325 rad that i put in the 318. If you can do Almost any of the modifications this guy has done to this car the mishi rad should be a walk in the park.

Sounds just like mine. I'm having a small issue with the idle staying calm. I also need to check my afr. Mine backfires as well... I'm running 440cc RC injectors with a nuke fuel rail. Also have a fuel pressure regulator. I plan to tune it with my AEM ems4 ecu. Boomslang made me a custom jumper harness for it (m44). I'd like to chat with you a bit. Do you have Facebook??
