Sarah Anne Williams’ performance as Tifa is what made me fall in love with her as an actress. She’s absolutely hilarious when she gets snarky or hotheaded, but she still manages to deliver the motherly tenderness of OG Tifa during key emotional moments (such as when she gives her “let’s be dumb kids together” speech to Yuffie, and when she finally helps repair Cloud’s mind).

Rewatching this, the one thing I really love is how in Season 1, you completely sympathize with Cloud & his clear misery towards the situation throughout the entirely of the Season! Because despite his blatant flaws (A Dork, Big Ego, Insensitive at Times & Pretty Aloof), it's clear he didn't want OR ask for ANY this Terrorist Nonsense! Plus, for how POORLY many of these Lunatics he meets (aside from Aerith) both treat him & force him down this miserable road! It's to a point to where Cloud's Pissed-Off Speech towards Tifa (at the season's end) is not only VERY Justified, but COMPLETELY Satisfying... And then throughout Season 2, you slowly (or quickly) start to realize that Cloud is ABSOLUTELY no better than ANY of these Lunatics (aside from Tifa to an extent) he's still been journeying with, by slowly showing off all his WORST traits in action. In Fact, here's a short list; 1: His WHOLE recount of Sephiroth & Nibelheim! 2: Him trying to act like a tryhard Badass with Sunglasses just to "prove" himself! 3: His "Yeah, So Just Get Over It!" to Barret just AFTER Aerith comforted the gun-armed dude! 4: And Finally, Him "politely" saying Zack was dead & never coming back to BOTH Aerith AND Zack's Parents! Barret's "You Fucked Up!" towards Cloud goes from just, "Barret being unreasonable asshole" to "Wow Cloud, you REALLY can be a Screw Up!" Luckily, Cloud DOES redeem himself & become a better person, but still, by S2 he's definitely lost his privilege of being the ONLY (Real) Straight-Man of this VERY Dysfunctional Cast!

This was funny until they jumped the shark and had their heads up their asses and started taking themselves too seriously just like they did with DBZA, the finale didn’t make me laugh once and pushed all these stupid serious moments that ultimately sucked if you aren’t a simp. They really overstepped on what a parody is supposed to be, now this feels like more of a cringey alternate dub, same with several modern abridged series that are trying to copy TFS (Except for Yugioh Abridged, LittleKuriboh thankfully seems to understand what an abridged series is and is staying true to itself with having zero serious moments) TFS’s DBZ abridged was good from Saiyan to Frieza saga but then Android to cell saga afterwards was a whole redub.. It became less about jokes and more about serious moments, literally ripping off the source material. They were talking about doing the boo saga. They have a patreon going. The decided they wouldn't do anymore DBZA, but didn't tell the patreons for 3 months. Coincidentally it was also christmas seasons, almost like they didn't want to rock the boat until they had a last hurrah. Changing Android 16's speech was the biggest offense since they clearly didn't understand what was going on at that moment and turned it into an edgefest. I really couldn't watch the end of the Cell games, but the last chapters didn't make me laugh once and I had to pause the damn thing several times. I'm really not interested in their “super original ideas”, those suck.
