It takes no effort to make a rage course in a game. Miyamoto himself said (before Mario maker even came out) that a rage game takes no effort or planning to make, while a fun game takes lots of careful planning and consideration to even get somewhat correct, much less get it right. And he also said that doubted many people who would make Mario maker levels would go for any other route than just making the hardest levels possible. I mean, the man certainly knows how people operate. Also, Mario maker is Nintendo's version of happy wheels, so... Seeing as how every level made for that game is made to be good and fun, I really don't understand how Miyamoto was able to get such an accurate predictions of what people would do in Mario maker.

I took an elective with a bunch of upperclassmen, and we were playing an improv game (it was a dramatics class) where one person had to pick a character and the rest had to act like that character. One junior came in and started screaming the random shit Arin did in a bunch of these clips and I was the only one who understood the references besides his friends in the audience. So it ended up being me and the junior screaming GameGrumps references at each other while 90% of the rest of the class just stood or sat there blankly. XD It was glorious.
