You know, I was a little bit curious about Fallout 76 after the new update - I thought “maybe, just maybe, I’ll pick it up”. But those two clips with Jeff show that it’s as busted as ever, and if it’s this busted so long after release, it’ll be busted forever. I know they technically moved away from the Gamebryo engine - but not far enough it seems. Why they persist in using their terrible “creation” engine, I’ll never know. The bad publicity generated by their engine must outweigh whatever money they saved using it.

It is still the Gamebryo engine. When Skyrim came out they paid Gamebase to license a fork of the engine code and rename it "Creation", in order to act like they were using something new, for marketing. It's all still fundamentally Gamebryo.

@@datacentre81 Yep. Call it whatever they want, Skyrim and Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 still have the exact same bugs as Oblivion and FO3, and many more on top. All of their games still sell like motherfuckers though, so they have no real incentive to improve it. More and more I think about the Bombcast where Jeff was trying to talk about how unacceptable the state of FO4 was against Dave Lang defending it, and in hindsight Jeff was 100% in the right.
