People are way too harsh on Patrick. Don't get me wrong, I'm not that big of a fan of him. I never read his articles, and I think his views on the political side of the game industry is asinine, I still don't think he deserves all the hate. He genuinely seems like a nice guy and I wish him the best of luck. But then again, why am I even trying to be rational in youtube comments of all places.

I think the comments about Patrick are particularly harsh here since on the GB site you can't even sneeze in his direction without the mods deleting your posts and telling you you have to like the guy. It's people getting out a lot of built up frustration not being able to even lightly criticize Patrick or his actions.
