Great work on these bikes. This is what makes this sport/hobby so much fun. Make each bike custom to what you like.

Your 89 GT Pro Series is a on fire! Such a rare bike with those drop outs on it. Haven’t even seen another and I’m on the look out!

Completely forgot about those Kool Stop pads and the aircool anodized base, obviously sick builds and as always, thanks for the break down 🎉

Those are both really nice! I have 2 1989 GT Performers here. Blue and pink.

On the second day of Christmas, Sean gave to me, 2 sick GTs. Both are absolutely beautiful, but I'm partial to the Pro Series

Nice set of bikes. I recently put a 1989 GT Mach One together with almost all OG parts.

I bought my first GT which had the unstamped flat top tube on the backside of the seat tube for 42 bucks at the Huntington Beach Police auction in 86, or 87, after my built up Hutch Pro Raider got stolen. I was soooo bummed out I still remember balling my eyes out! That GT was exactly what I needed to find.

I know, I am weird, But I would take the GT Mach One.. I just like those Frames better.. I prefer the angled chop off on the top tube behind the seat post tube. That is my only reason.. Both 2 Super Rad bikes. Love the choices of parts you used. Both done with Class, Style and Amazing Build Choices.. Hope you had a Rad Christmas!!!

I like the 43 tooth chain ring. 16 or 17 T freewheels are cool. Reminds me of bunny hopping over things like 2 foot barriers or onto benches🙂in the 80s

Sucks to hear GT going out of business....I love both bikes but the pro series is my favorite....I just bought my son the blue camo GT pro series 24 for Christmas....exact same decals... love the video...stay Rad bro 🤙

Same. Just got my son the 24 in red/black and about to assemble it. Sort of sad.

Awesome video if I had both of those I would go for the trifecta and get the baby brother. If I had to pick one I’d go with the Machone.

I would choose the Pro Series . However, I would definitely like to add a Mach One , like yours, to my collection.
@slydwaysdrifter215917 күн бұрын
The choice is hard on the Mach one or Pro Series. I see a made in USA sticker on the top tube of the Mach. If that is US made and the Pro is not, then I choose the Mach one. But, as you say I also couldn’t separate them ever if they were mine. I absolutely love them both. Your GT collection is my favorite. Every one of them!

I remember when the mach 1 was the entry level bike with steel backend and chromoly front-end frames, then they were upgraded to all 4130 frames. I'd have to go with the pro series.

Entry level was the Interceptor

I like watching all your videos. I’m a lot like you from Illinois. I’ve owned so many different kind of bikes. It’s unbelievable. Just a quick shortlist. 1985 Haro master 1988 Haro master 1986 Haro sport 1987 GT performer 1987 CW Mike buff California freestyler I’m not sure what year it was, but I also had a GJS Redline RL Osborne

My Perigrine HP 49 - 408 tyres are the same sort of tyre and were mostly used for high-speed hills runs but were also good on the track. I was never a racer so it ik and I was amazed when I was younger they could be pumped up to 100PSI but 40 was about the max I went.

Still got my ‘89 Interceptor that i begged my dad to buy me. Worked all summer to get all the upgraded parts and raced it for a few years. Recently restored it and now ride it with my son😎

I would love to see you or another enthusiast get GT..Also the bikes look great. And people are always scamming people. Making fake accounts and doing people harm. Sad lives..Best of luck going into 2025..
