This is sweet. I've never really watched a handball game in my life. Just stumbled upon it a little while ago and it just seemed like it was so offensive heavy and really hard to stop. But these were some great examples of shutting it down

A few are. But it is normal to foul the enemy. You are supposed to foul in a way that you stop the attack but don't get a 2 min suspension. If you manage to take the ball without a foul that's pretty good. Normally you want to foul and make the attack of the enemy so long that the ref raises his hand. If that happens the other team can only pass 4 more times then they have to throw. Then you want to get them in a really bad throwing position so that you can either block the throw, make them throw the ball out of play or make it easy for the goalkeeper to hold.

No, you can not throw people to the ground, but you are allowed to keep holding them as they fall to the ground.

This is how you defend and some asshole teams leave the goalkeepers alone and camp near the rival team goalposts. I have seen matches were more than 90 goals in aggregate were scored
