Many people just can't see what this is about and that's fine. Chi sau is training for fighting, so when you start you practise slow, but at this level you can really challenge each others techniques, responses etc. When I teach my guys good chi sau with intensity it becomes harder and harder to hit them and they hit back and thats how it should be. If your top students are easy to hit you are just using them as punch bags.. i'm always happy when my students punch me, it means i taught them right and it motivates me to get even better! Wing Tsun forever brothers and sisters! Ps: whatever you practise, do it from your heart - one who trains with the body is tough, one who trains with the brain is clever, but the one who trains with heart is unbeatable!

If you think the Chi Sao is really bad here then go make Norbert Maday a visit and explain to him what is wrong and then you can correct him... Be interesting to see what he says or does..... Smacked over shifting.... Hmmm these guys are trying to hit each other... Their sensitivity in Chi Sao is so advanced...

@nobeliefin One can take 20 years of private-teaching by the best grandmaster and still be a mediocre fighter! So if someone like W.Cheung claims to have taken any lesson from YipMan, one has the first hint of his art. The 20 fittest wingchun-fighter I ever trained with, were ALL pupils or scholars of pupils from the LeungTing-WT-System. If you want to learn efficient with diligence, they can show you how - just must not even be a member of their organisation.

@MrSifuwebb In my teachings ( what my master told me ) Si-Gung, Si-Gong, Si-Kung.... is second master! But either ways, if Si-Jo really means Creator/ founder, Prof. Leung Ting IS the founder of Leung Ting Wing TSun. The system, not the style. As we know Wing Tsun, Chun...etc is originated from Grandmistress Ng Mui from the White Crane temple. So technically only she knew the original style. Everything else is just a "rip off" ;)

It really comes down to that. You expect the attacker to follow through after getting in. For EEWTO chi-sau the point is just getting through as in it is clear for both sides that one has got through, and leave it at that - play on. The opponent is not eliminated. It is up to debate whether the pros or cons are greater, but it is just how they practice.

All these crap you mention "blitzdefense, latsao 2000,philppino sticks and mister grossmeister" are partly LT's fault! His exploitation of WC in Europe resulted in bastardization of the art! Emin Bozo has to answer to the consumers' call to add Pilipino sticks and other craps. Lately, they have to answer to MMA's ridicule so they add the "anti-grappling techniques in WC" to make the sale more marketable. Ip Man would turn in his grave if he saw all these.
