I'm wondering how hard it would be to adapt the software such that people with an erratic ping, or driving at 25km/h above the speed limit, or leaving a gap of less than 10m at any sort of speed, would be automatically kicked from the server. There's a reason there are rules on real roads and the reason is that, if there weren't, shit like in this video would happen; regardless of any other constraints of the game. Call me a stickler, but: if you want multiplayer in this game, why not apply some common sense and make everyone's experience a good one? Trucking is not a competitive game in terms of being on the road, even in real life. Once you or your company have got the job, the competition is over... all that remains is getting the goods from A to B safely and competently, so why go against the flow and ruin eachother's day, as drivers? Back it down, somewhat respect speed limits, don't overtake on corners or on hills and use the tools available to you. Unlike single player, traffic is displayed on the route adviser, so take advantage of that.
