Best of Ireland, this is Carlingford in Louth
Some people call it the Dingle of the east coast, you can call it whatever you want, I’d recommend a visit, it’s only a short drive from Dublin.
We were lucky to get a beautiful day up in Carlingford and had the chance to explore the oyster beds of Carlingford Oysters and some of the most iconic pubs in the country.
I loved visiting and can’t wait to go back.

We visited one of the best pubs in Ireland -
Lily Finnegans, 250 year old pub in the middle of nowhere really, but you’d move there just to have Lily’s as your local.

I want your job! Your reviews are all spot on! I’m currently traveling with my daughter and we’ve enjoyed Moran’s Oyster Cottage and Kai in Galway. We are flying back to Vermont on Tuesday, but may need to pass through Carlingford for oysters and Guinness. Keep up the great work! Slainte!
