@Skankpronger Years ago I worked out of Williamsport and on several occassions needed the assistance of the PSU Police. They showed me JoePas house. I was shocked...it's very small and quaint. But it's w/in walking distance which they told me he always did...even after games! Joe is a class act all the way!

If this guy dies, there's gonna be an ultimate tribute to him from the NFL om some game days, and then mainly from ESPN and ABC during the regular season, on FOX during BCS games, and in the ESPYs.

Paterno is the one who actually reported the incident to the Athletic Director on more than one occasion, the AD failed to do ANYTHING about it. Know your facts before you talk bad about the greatest football coach of all time

Joe reported what he was told to the highest ranking member of the police department with jurisdiction in the matter--Gary Shultz. It's in the grand jury presentment and the testimony at the preliminary. Not sure how you missed it. Yes, he also reported it to his direct superior, the AD. But more importantly, he relayed exactly what he was told to Shultz, who was the civilian in charge of the campus police, the equivalent of a commissioner in a municipality. I have a dream, where I can watch a video of the man who coached my Nittany Lions for most of my adult life without hearing ignorant comments from people who don't know a thing about an incident that Jerry Sandusky was actually acquitted on (only 45 of 48 charges were convictions) seeking to do nothing but vilify a man who dedicated so much time to Penn State. Sometimes I think I'm just too old for the internet world, I come from an era where journalists investigated the facts instead of reporting sensationalist garbage to stir up people's emotions.

thats amazing, well i know hes a class act just by the way he talks no bs hype talk up ,tell it like he sees it. but youd think hed live outside of the town plus he prolly makes nearly a million a year coaching.

@BassAssassin9 hes the only coach in the BCS to win a national championship w/o any recruiting violations. class act, class coach. hands down the best in college football. tied for #1 in college sports history with john wooden.
