@@explosiver Yes way older. 1987. I love SMT it's been my favorite series for a while now. Growing up Atlas had really nothing of there main line games. Cool borders 2..... The not so good port of Persona 1..... and although I never played it Jack Bros 😂. Let's just say I'm glad they can come over full force now that the western religion ban is gone. It's sorta good though that company's did this. There would have been riots XD. They burned Harry Potter books and called Pokemon satanic over here in the states. Can you imagine if these popped up on shelves at that time? XDDD

honestly one of the major selling points of SMT for me was the soundtracks. i have rarely ever seen such love put into the st of anything else, even though music is an important component in creating games and contributes HUGELY to the atmosphere of the games. its always just an afterthought? not for these games, though, and i love that.

Another game series with a good soubdtrack is the Drakengard/NieR series. It's not everyone's cup of tea though, but most people who've played them have liked the soundtrack, if you were looking for other series with goid music. Totally agree with you though, SMT as a whole has amazing music.

If you are cool with metal and rock, another two series with huge love towards the soundtracks are BlazBlue and Guilty Gear. I like BlazBlue's more overall due to the more prominent focus on the orchestral instrumentation blending very well with the already metal focus. Personally, I can't stand the remix songs over the original versions when it comes to BlazBlue. To each their own though. Also, BlazBlue has a crazy story for a fighting game. Anime as all hell, it even has several manga adaptations, manga tie-ins, and light novel tie-ins as well, most of those which greatly expand upon the lore of the Dark War preceding the events of the main story.

@@GamerConnoisseurRei I've already gotten into Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne because of the remaster on my ps4 and I'll say I'm not disappointed, the soundtrack is absolutely amazing and the gameplay is pretty addicting. I just need to buy a ps2 in order to play the older games but other than that, I would say it seems like the game has been worth the $50 so far.

For me Decisive battle from Raidou vs King abaddon is the best battle theme, idk what is but the mood, the heavy guitar and the phases of the song bring me epicness to my ears. My top 1-Raidou decisive battle 2-Battle for survival (make you realize the real s**t beggings in dds2) 3-Lucifer battle nocturne (my favourite smt so) 4-B2 from smt iv (smt iv maybe have the best ost in the saga, tokyo theme is a masterpiece) 5-Mass destruction (simply iconic)
