The two women leading vocals, how they so beautifully do it together, each knowing when to croon and knowing the exact responsorial to get from the rest of the musicians. That has to be achieved with long years of singing and practice. This is beautiful art.

If you kill your fellow Igbo man or woman or any blood shed innocently in pursuance of your Biafra will definitely hunt for you and your family in general. Ask people who knows better than you do the effect of shedding blood. Pursue your Biafra with clean hands. Any blood shed will even speak against the Biafra.
@okekechidi3377 Жыл бұрын
No genuine IGBO Biafran will Ever shed the blood of another BROTHER or any Human being. BIAFRA is GODS will for the IGBOS and he will give it to us in his time, which is very near. He wants to use us in this end time to bring the world back to him. Wether you believe it or not we are his Special Children and priest from ancient times but our ancestors fell from the presence of GOD and he scattered us. But through the IGBOS (TAKE NOTE) THE MOST HIGH WILL BRING OUR scattered brethren and the entire world back to him through JESUS. this is the real purpose of Biafra. Why do you think everyone especially the political seat of the devil (britain) hates NDIGBO and that name Biafra. They know these secret more than us. But the council of GOD must still and very soon.

I think the lady being interviewed was wrong when she said that Nkwa Nwite music was recorded in the seventies unless she meant cassette recording. Their song has ruled the airwave since the 50s as far as I know. Growing up in the 50s, their song was always played on the radio.

@@dikeibe1223 Mbanu, Nkwanwite is one of the oldest known Igbo women traditional music group of Ehugbo (Afikpo) They were the ones that popularised this song way back in the 50s.
