I'm happy Novel got a spotlight, I've always loved his stuff. Ever since Nytro started making montages, i stumbled upon one of the first ones in my recommended, and was amazed by how good the team was at the time. I was able to see the team grow and Novel with it. Without a doubt Novel is the best freestyler and even though i stopped freestyling a while ago, I hope to see Novel continue to improve and get the recognition he deserves

I honestly feel like he transformed the 1s freestyle scene for the worse tho, I feel like freestylers these days seek so many mechanics in their shots that they just become long and boring. They are really just chasing this man, but nobody will ever catch him, he reads the game so much better than anybody, freestylers these days make one mistake and the shot is over, it’s like he doesn’t make mistakes, every “bad” touch just creates a different shot for him. this might be a bad take but I truly believe he’s the most naturally blessed freestyler ever

I have to say: this is the guy who really got me into freestyling. I have always loved these shuffles and jump reset goals the most, even when they aren't really considered "meta" and no one I knew would go for them let alone pass for them. This guy was one of my main inspirations to keep playing. I would sometimes have a video of his open in a web browser tab and spend hours tabbing back and fourth just to try to learn so etching he did, like the ceiling switch. Thanks so much Novel, you're the best ❤️

There are no good rumble dropshot, rumble or snowday plays that are worth dedicating a while video to imo. I think there are some impressive clips but wouldn’t be great as a video. Hoops is better but still wouldn’t want it as a full video. It’s cool to see some of the really good clips in extra modes sprinkled in
