My daughter got married Sept 22 in OC. Because of the tropical weather and high winds, she didn’t get her outdoor Beach wedding so it took place at Dry Dock, the venue. She was disappointed but you don’t have control of Mother Nature. I got my Fisher’s Carmel Corn, Dolles taffy and Thrasher’s Fries. My daughter won a Thrasher’s stuffed seagull with a French fry in its mouth at the balloon dart game and she won me a different OC gull with a slice of pizza in it’s mouth from the Claw Machine. We tried the cheese bowl and it was delicious. There’s always something going on in OC during the weekends, events for all. My daughter lives 10 minutes away from OC but spends more time there in the off season. She buys season tickets for Assateague National Seashore Park where the wild ponies live. They are gorgeous animals.

Woah I didn’t know they were turning Phillips old building into something new! That makes me so happy cause my family use to stay there whenever we went to OC and seeing it sit there abandoned just makes me sad

I haven't been to Ocean City's boardwalk since '03. And even that trip wasn't fun (health reasons). But, to this very day, I miss the southern end of the boardwalk. And the not far away horse track. All that said, is there still a Dayton side of The Dough Roller? Our family loved Dayton's Fried Chicken. I was partial to the cheeseburger. But we always had Thrasher's famous Fries to go with it. I also loved Marty's Playland and The Inlet Bar and Grill.

We were never rich, but things have gotten bad wallet wise the last several years. And haven't been healthy enough to go do what I do for a while. In fact, I'm in rehab now, trying to get my balance back

Just saw your video 8:35 on 4/25/24 cool video I love OC MD been going there pretty much all my life. I grew up going there then my daughter grew up going there with me. I'm from Pennsylvania suburbs a little south of Philadelphia and we never did the Jersey shore we always went to Ocean City MD. I'll probably be going there next weekend for Springfest if I don't get in the surf fishing tournament in Delaware and probably be down there two weeks after that for the car show.

Sorry, but Margaritaville is a no go. There will be a smaller new hotel built on that site, but not Margaritaville. You need to be in OC in MAY for Cruise In! That's an experience. We love Shenanigans. We were in there once having dinner and a guy walked in in a kilt with a bagpipe and played it. What a memory. Now I'm craving for a big tub of WARM Fisher's caramel popcorn!!

I have never tried Love's lemonade, but I will. Have you ever tried the lemonade at Polock Johnny's ? It is their grandmother's recipe and out of this world. I can't wait to compare. Great video. I need to try the Cheese Wheel. We have been by all these places but were afraid to try them. Thanks to you all, we will!
