Na it’s still well written but I don’t understand why the stayed back in time there where so many opportunities for them to stay in the present and for them “super powers” not to be a thing. Could of easily of made it a 10 season show without all that weirdness. I would happily sign on to a writer for free and explore different roles for each character and make them into short motion pictures each season… just a thought. I still like riverdale

Riverdale was so great the first 2 seasons. One of the best shows on drama/romance I’d ever seen. Season 3 was ok, season 4-7 were trash. At least season 4 was somewhat interesting I didn’t hate it but seasons 5 and 7 were absolutely horrible. Season 6 was kinda cool but also so random, a nonfiction show gets filled with superheroes randomly after 6 seasons

@@christinajimenez7826 I’m rewatching it and just finished season 4. Looking back season 4 was solid. Wasn’t great but it was pretty good. I’m on season 5 right now and it’s just not very good & only gets worse as it goes on. The Archie Betty relationship was cool but besides that I wasn’t into it. Then season 6 with rivervale was horrible. I’ve still not watched all 5 of those episodes even tho I’ve watched the show 2 times now lol. After that season 6 was kinda cool but just so random. Then season 7 I just wasn’t a fan of it didn’t make any sense and all the characters were essentially new people. They should’ve just picked up a year after highschool with all the characters having to come home because of some mystery involving all of them rather than skip 7 years forward in time. Idk it’s just a bummer because the show was so good early on. I know it’s harder to write the story after they leave highschool, but the vampire diaries did a good job of that. After the characters graduated highschool they still kept the show really fun and interesting up until I believe season 7 where they skipped forward 3 years and it got pretty boring but that was mainly because the main character (Elena aka Nina Dobrev) left the show so they have an excuse for the show not being as good. For example if Archie left the show, then I would understand why it fell off, but all the characters stayed. They should’ve kept FP in the show too he was a major character after the death of Fred & he just disappeared after season 4 and never comes back even after 7 years when JB would’ve been in college & Jughead & Allice were in River Dale. Idk just a shame they ruined such a promising show

@@Unknown0-g3w yep. Even with season 6 it wasn’t as good but at least it was trying to revive the audience by bringing in powers.. but when they went back to the 50’s..? I watched the season bc I felt I had to but I never made it to the finale. I don’t even know if they ever made it back to present day or if they stayed in the 50’s timeline forever. Should’ve just brought in another villain. Realistically it went downhill when they skipped 7 years into the future. Also the gargoyle king in season 3 was corny. Such a shame bc the characters were so good. The main 4 obviously were amazing with B&V then Archie & Jug, then FP was amazing, Fred was amazing (RIP), Hiram was a great villain then they had great side characters like Reggie, Cheryl, Toni, Fangs, Kevin, sheriff Keller etc. just wish they had a better villain in season 4. Black hood & Clifford blossom in the first 2 seasons were awesome mysteries. Could’ve been an all time great show smh

You know the funny thing is if it wasn't for cousin Thomas Mackenzie this show wouldn't even exist. He was a musical artist called the archies. He had a hit called "Sugar Sugar" and everything changed for him. He started an animated series called The Archies with "Archie, Betty, Veronica ETC... He got ripped off from his manager and his label and they took all his money changed the artist to be someone else in the music video for sugar sugar and took his T.V. privileges. Just want to let you guys know if it wasn't for him y'all wouldn't have the Riverdale show.
