I bet he didn't run to the club with his managerial cv in hand though. He talks a lot about people being selfish, but he wouldn't go near that job. Keane & co criticise the current players a lot, but they need to find a manager that's actually near Pep's level before they can start to challenge for a league title. EtH struggled to impose his personality on this team. All Neville does is talk about the 101 things that aren't quite right at the club which led to the infamous bust up with Jamie Redknapp when Redknapp said EtH wasn't good enough. They barely got past Coventry City in the semi final. The warning signs were there for all to see.
