Mercury is one of my favourite characters in RWBY because he has the most shitdark edgy backstory in the whole show, like his name is literally Mercury Black and he was raised by a master assassin who drunkenly abused him daily until he killed him but he lost his legs in the fight and now he has guns for legs. And his personality is that he's kind of boring and kind of a douchebag. Not much of either. That's hilarious to me.
