I don't understand the point that guy was trying to make when he said it was such a small amount of Ron Goldman's blood in the Bronco that he has doubts about it, or something like that. There should be none of Ron's blood in there! It doesn't matter how little it is. The fact that there's any proves his guilt. Oj didn't know him. The thing about the OJ trial is that you have to put it in the context of the times, it was a few years after several cops were acquitted by an all-white jury for beating Rodney King half to death, the LAPD was notoriously racist and the investigation was fairly incompetent. When you combine that with the fact that the cop who found the most important evidence against him had been on record talking about his racist views and gloating about beating African Americans its not hard to see how the black jurors could believe the police fabricated evidence against him. For some it was probably seen as fair payback for the Rodney King acquittals. Obviously the odds are that he was guilty but the political context matters, it wasn't just a matter of having the money to pay for good lawyers though clearly that helped too.

Anyway, that means I was 21-22 when this was all going on. I'm wondering, why did the PROSECUTION allow the jury to be mostly Black, knowing that this could happen? For example, what if I were on trial, or even the plaintiff in a case? (I'm MALE) So, what if I wanted my lawyers to "get a jury of 12 Japanese-American MALES" to be in my case? Why would the OPPOSING lawyer sign off on that? Because I'm Japanese-American, I am VERY racially hung up.

There was way more evidence against OJ than this program had time to present, and if you know anything about the civil trial you know that's why he lost that trial. There's no question LAPD dropped the ball as far as proper evidence handling and the defense team took advantage of that. In the civil trial OJ had to take the stand so he had to answer questions he had no answer for, like why were there dozens of pictures of him with those Bruno Magli shoes on if they weren't his shoes. I 100% believe he killed those people and it's really sad that somehow they don't get mentioned much in these discussions. RIP Nicole and Ron.

I was traveling in CA while this trial was on. While trying to find a radio station I came across a local call in talk show that was discussing the case. An upset caller, black female, was very angry that as soon as one of the brothers gets some money and fame, his black wife is no longer good enough for him and he dumps her and gets himself a blond, white trophy wife. I've wondered if that sentiment was in the jury deliberations. I've had Navaho friends who felt the same way, betrayed by their own men because when a man successfully leaves the reservation, he wants a white wife. In a way, it's a betrayal. Trouble is, once they've become famous and successful, white men, too, dump their current model of wife for a Barbie trophy wife.

Our judicial system is undoubtedly flawed, and absolutely needs to be improved upon. At the same time, however, I haven't seen a better judicial system anywhere else (not counting the judicial system in liberal cities that has been butchered by liberal politicians). Also, I don't think this has as much to do with the "jury system" as it does the judicial system as a whole. Though, jury selection processes are a part of the system that needs overhauled. Of course, this is far easier said than done. I don't believe that a perfect justice is possible, but we should always strive to improve upon it, though only through rigorous research, and contemplation. With that said, would you rather have your fate decided by one man, or by an independent jury of your peers?

This murder was premeditated, horrific heinous brutal crime against two innocent people. Justice wasn’t served which makes it even worse grief stricken to family and friends and to justice lovers women. If a man starts verbal abuse, women get out of the relationship and pursue your case being protected by your beloved family, stay in hiding. Go to Africa or Europe and let the lawyer do his job. Re the extra gloves, 1 smaller to leave at the scene, etc etc -- OJ wasn't smart enough to think up all that -- and it was a very last min. crime of passion, seems to me. He had the time & thought to pick up a knife, & that's it, or he normally carried a knife with him, anyway, as some men do. He's very primitive, & just not that smart. Smart enough maybe to not use a gun, which makes a noise, or I think he prob. just didn't have one with him. He could hv killed his ex-wife first, she may not hv had time to say anything, then killed the guy, who must hv been yelling by then -- who would hv then tried to run, I would imagine, esp. his being unarmed. OR, OJ killed the guy first, more likely, to get him out of the way, whom his anger was inspired by, & his ex-wife would hv been screaming by then before he killed her too -- so not so quiet either. I think he prob. just didn't hv a gun, which would at least hv been quicker. The young guy was only there to drop off sunglasses the wife had left in the restaurant, OJ was already there or just happened upon the scene, misunderstood the whole situation, then just snapped & went on a rampage. I don't know if the knife was in his car already, or was a larger fold-up knife already in a pocket, or if he grabbed one of the wife's kitchen knives from her house. I forget if the origin of the knife used was established -- I haven't looked into this trial for years now, not since it actually happened. But this crime was a very sudden thing, most likely, just upon seeing the young guy there with his (ex)wife, & OJ wasn't thinking of the consequences; he just very suddenly acted. The gloves just happened to be with him, one of which he dropped, prob. just fell out of a pocket. The glove then got wet outside, & dried up all shrunken & stiff, just as a leather glove would do, exactly, if left outside for awhile. OJ just got lucky that the glove was found in that condition -- if it was indeed his glove in the first place (was that established?? I can't recall) -- & that it was not wearable any more, by anyone -- not by the owner, & not by OJ, even if it would hv fit OJ originally. So, that's my take on it: A real crime of passion, & where OJ just snapped -- it happened too fast for OJ to think, just react to. He's not smart enough, or calm enough, or with patience enough, to plan out an attack & in detail, beforehand. He prob. just saw the guy there (young, white; OJ black & pretty well middle-aged by then), which put OJ into a semi-controlled rage already. Then OJ got verbally rough with the young guy, this young guy then prob. smart-mouthed him back, & that was it -- game on, 2 ppl dead. I think OJ may hv panicked then at what he did -- or not -- & then just took off, accidentally dropping one glove (if it was his). He just acted, not thinking about ANYthing, was just going to severely punish these 2 ppl -- the young guy for being there with his (ex)wife (a woman OJ still felt "ownership" of, apparently), & his (ex)wife for even having the guy there in the first place (& displaying her "disloyalty" of OJ). He is THAT primitive. OJ only learned later on that the (young, white) guy was just returning sunglasses. All very sad, this young guy just being nice. And he may hv even had a bit of a crush on O.J.'s ex-wife, who knows, but still...he certainly didn't deserve death either. (And, no, some stranger didn't just happen by & do this crime.)

The second episode where they narrator keeps saying the crime was occuring inside and outside the club and then visually the actors in the reenactment scenes are clearly in an apartment, not anything close to resembling a club. Lol. Oh man, classic low budget restraints made for some unintentional hilarious comedy. To be fair, that's the only time I've ever noticed anything like that with this show. So well played. 🤙
