The current tour of this musical does so much wrong that it’s being rewritten. The first thing they did wrong was character design. Shrek’s skin is green but they didn’t use any masks or anything, Donkey is in a sweater, young Fiona is a puppet (wait what?). If you do a revival of a broadway hit, you have to do it right.

I agree it was different and honestly wrong, but I took it into perspective. I figured since it was named Shrek The Musical: Fall In Love All Ogre Again...that maybe it's just supposed to be a "recap" or something, hence why a lower budget and changed musical numbers. I personally saw it from beginning to end was enjoyed by it despite the difference appearance. But I don't fully know, so I could just be talking none sense.

For starters, I don't like Shrek. Occasionally, an adaptation can improve something, but this just goes to show that some things shouldn't be made into musicals. Somehow this was worse than the movie.
