Why is it that you do not touch the ground after the roll? Does it have something to do with the flight mechanisms of the wing, in that it lifts you up just before the ground? Or do you know exactly how much you lose in altitude with each roll and you have to calculate it yourself?

Is it necessary for speedflying to fly so close to the ground, or is possible without being so close?

It certainly isn’t necessary, but it is an incredible amount of fun.

This appears to be slightly safer than wing suit flying, but it seems like it's only a matter of time.....But i hope that you make it to a ripe old age.

i drive past that waterfall at the end every day 😀 verry popular ice climbing in the winter there. how long did it take to get in to speed flying? and what did u ahve to do?

One of the most epic waterfalls for sure! I started speedflying in July of 2018, so almost 4 years! I started with paragliding lessons then moved to speedwings. Speedfly.com is a local school that is the best speedflying specific school in North America for sure!
