I dunno but I'm American, and I know that Sweden puts out some amazing musicians. Many amazing guitarists came from Sweden. Out of most European countries to live, Sweden is at the top of my list.

Having just watched a lot of Autralian and Swedish auditions, I can understand why the world isn't full of Swedish and Australian rock stars. Some amazing talent. Both countries let the contestants accompany themselves, which seems to make it much better; bit tough if you play piano though, getting it there on the bus.

Wow! I didn't know that Sweden has a lot of great singers and most of them play the guitar so well. After watching American Idol since the first season began, I stopped watching it because the contestants the so-called "judges" picked do not impress me. I am so blown away by these auditions that I am drawn to these youtube videos. Thank you for posting these videos. I am so relieved that great artists still abound in other parts of the world. BRAVO!!!

got my first guitar at the age of 5, a child model at four. Couldn't almost hold it up steadily. Music is a big deal here, and since some idiots argue that we doesn't sing in our own language and songs, i can tell them that many songs people think of as "American" or whatever is actually written by Swedes. Two of the three judges has been writing songs more then i can count, for Brittney spears, Madonna, Back Street Boys etc, so they know what they're listening to. Cheers.

Music is a really big thing in Sweden, we have music lessons from a young age and many of us continue with some music activities when we get "older" and we can choose to study music as our (as you would call it) "master degree" in both "högstadiet" and "gymnasiet" that in America equals to High School and College. Music in our schools are almost as big as sports here.
