Metera is my favorite character so far, you basically have control over all the screen, so as long as you dont lose that control its really hard for the enemy to counter you.

Usually to confirm hits midscreen and push to the corner instead of giving up potential oki and corner carry for an SBA like Metera's, which can just up and miss the cinematic at some ranges or might not give enough time for oki. Again, it's a player-by-player basis, but those are some general case uses.

Nier seems to be weak to zoning in general because 66L doesn't cut it against the likes of Metera/Ferry. You can get your puppet in with 9jU, but it's weak to rushdown on reaction because you can't DP while your puppet is in Africa

Nier's 214U will beat almost every one of matera's moves even full screen. Nier will get her turn back even if you block it and its not a fun experience. The nier at 1:00 shows how brutal it is

I don't think she's necessary "weak to zoning" however I do believe they're probably some of her weaker matchups while still being in her favor, Excluding 214U you can't just throw out your puppet bc it will get shut down however if you do get in it think it becomes pretty free for nier. With 214U tho it's even more free
