Dave has one of the cleanest and most honorable elite arm wrestling career ever. Winning or losing don't shake him, he just wants to compete at the highest level possible, he will always have my respect. And for a while he was always top 5 in the world but the most underrated, which blows my mind.

The Vitaly match showed that Vitaly has incredible static strength and pronation to be able to hold Dave for some 20 seconds in straps, which is Dave's sweet spot. I think Vitaly could beat anyone except Levan and give a good fight to Devon (pre Levan shape), Ermes and Dave if there is a rematch with better reffing. I don't see the likes of Genadi, Artem, Prudnik or Alex giving him trouble.

@@YFun-ux5rs do u know what is Devon 's strongest position? It s high hook. And u have to climb ur hand high enough to get advantage which Devon did every single time with his long arm. But here we have Lalentin who even got longer arm and much stronger hand. So obviously it ll be an 1-way match up. ( Even in a hook Lalentin is still stronger) . Devon s going to fight Prudnik and Prudnik is 1 level below those guys like Levan, Lalentin or Ermes. Trust me after u see Prudnik beat Devon u ll know this isnt his time anymore. I respect what Devon did to armwrestling but now he has to concentrate on promoting the sport, not high level comp

@@caohaithanh1134 I don't disagree with you, if you find my comments under other vidoes, you will see that I am a critic of Devon for not competing against top Euroes and have stated that his rankings are overrated. However, after hearing John and Levan speak highly of him, I am at least a little bit inclined to believe that the Devon that showed up in Dubai might legit be a #2 or 3 contender. Concerning the high hook comment, I disagree, Devon has now almost switched to his open toproll/kings move (he used a hook against Levan after he got injured). To defeat his kings move defense, you have to have an incredibly strong wrist to prevent it from being cracked towards the pin pad and of course ton of back pressure and side pressure. Alternatively, climbing then transitioning to a press is a possibility but it seems hard to get into position to press against Devon. So while I think Laletin has very good chances to beat Devon, I can see Devon winning as well, especially over a 6 round match.
