The opening video shows the poor driver dealings with snow. I spent four winters in Denmark and witnessed how drivers drive during the start of a snow storm. Each driver moves over 100mm from the track of the previous vehicle, this keeps the whole lane clear. Provided there's enough vehicle for the amount of snow falling the roads are kept fairly clear, until the ploughing cavalry arrive which is not too long and they come in four abreast and sweep the whole highway.

At that point when he started swearing that my wife, who had been sitting in the back, came out. His face went white when he realised i had a witness and she said,"Yes, you went into the back off us, so you were out of control, so its your fault, Shit Happens", we went into B & Q leaving him picking up his bumper and putting it into his back seat. Not a mark on us. That hook proved very useful over the years.

Since dashcams I find an increasing number of accidents where it seems that the person technically not at fault has allowed an accident to happen just because it’s not their fault. The accident in many cases could have easily been avoided. Remember, when you buy car insurance one question is “have you been involved in any accidents in the past 3 or 5 years”- no mention of fault. My insurance renewal has come in at £550 my last accident was in 2008 and I have over 25 years NCB on an 8 year old Astra. Best thing to note is you have a responsibility to minimise the liability to your insurance company. Keep this in mind when you drive and complain about increasing insurance costs. We all pay for your accidents.

Hang back at this point and the end result would be a bit of a tut from the daft car in front cutting in front of you. Yes, car in front's fault, but again, would you rather be right and hitting them, or just hang back and get home in one piece?

#6 snow and hills. That was caused by two opposites affected by physics. Speed was too great BEFORE the descent begun, then on the descent the realisation came it was too fast and braking was applied above what the road/tyre surface friction could sustain grip at. This with gravity being now on a hill caused motion to increase the speed. Trying to steer onto the side road to avoid the hill the car was then put into a tail after nose spin resulting in a side impact with a brick wall. In short everything short of accelerating and handbraking was input by the driver to prevent this and all too much or too little too late. Word of advice... never drive up or down hills in winter unless it's life or death.

All these incidents happen every hour every mile. As a H.G.V. driver I and we truckers have to endure this day in day out. Regarding the Astra and the Golf incident it is normal behavior on our roads. Many times I had thought not braking, hitting the car in front. Teach them a lesson, my excuse " I was looking in my nearside mirror got cut up couldn't stop my 44 tonne in time". But no too much form filling e.t.c. Had a complete idiot reverse out onto a main road in front of me yesterday. Wish I’d got dashcam footage because it was brilliant. Mr Delicate: “You don’t have to beep, I couldn’t see you”. Me “that’s the point, that’s why you shouldn’t have reversed out and why I warned you I was here, Have you passed a driving test?” Mr Delicate “*string of very non delicate expletives* I can show you my camera that shows I couldn’t see you”. Me “ congratulations, so you can prove you shouldn’t have reversed out”. At this point Mr Delicate tries to open my car door. Unfortunately for him he’s obviously not a good neighbour either and his neighbour has heard the row and is having none of it. I just watched the bloke crumble and walk away as he was called names even I wouldn’t use, and I would’ve called him a “rancid, sh*t spackled pair of kecks”

Whilst we see Audi's making their own lane and BMW's seeing gaps that no other road user see's, not to mention their 17 stage rules on indicators. And I haven't even mentioned Taxis or foreign HGV drivers on roundabouts. Ambulances don't need to concern themselves with rules. For good reasons and the only ones on the road who do.
