I feel like I can't stop saying it, but this is by far my newest favorite tournament series to watch and follow. Seeing everyone's ridiculous leaps and bounds improvements, cheer each other on, build friendships (and rivalries)...this is what it's all about! The Slam successfully showcases the experience of learning and playing fighting games imo! It lets viewers at all skill levels see themselves represented where normally that can be really difficult and a big barrier to entry ime. Sajam cooked with this format, good for him sticking to his guns believing in it! I'm so glad it's branching out to other games now too in addition to Tekken (no shade at all). Hope it stays grassroots and online to be as inclusive and safe as possible! Ty for the highlights too!

ngl, watching the Brian_F/Diaphone match live was so intense. Brine said after the match that he was super pumped to play the coaches match because it was like an opportunity for him to *show* his team what he's been coaching them on, not just tell them. And there's several instances of this in the set, but the easiest to point to isn't even in this compilation. Game 2, Brian gets burnt out and Diaphone is being relentless on offense, but since Diaphone is one hit away, he just fucking holds it. He stands his ground, blocking nearly every move Diaphone throws out, taking the throws, and then the moment his Drive meter fills up and he's no longer at disadvantage, he throws out a button check to win the round. And what I think is the coolest about that is since the playoffs, Eskay's been streaming SF6 still and she is SO patient at times it's astonishing. Easily one of the most impressive teams in the tournament.

Eskay on PhiDX's team last slam, along with FD, were my favorite team, and BrawlPro was a close second for how insane they were. So having Doki, Eskay, BP, Ko, and Brine is just so good

I think playing T8, gave a lot of these players bad habits. lol. Since you are losing if you're not pressing buttons in T8, they are afraid to just block in this game and lose 3/4 of their lifebars for no reason.

Nah it's not them who deletes your comments, when you upload videos there's an option that will automatically deletes any comment that has links, that option is turned on by default and i think the channel owner just leave the options as is
