@mariosanchez2478

Hey. They're English commentators! They're praising their own n spreading disharmony. They make things up as they go along and other competitors may start to believe that those r the thoughts of that particular athlete. Have U ever heard American commentators on their teams and their athletes? Talk about bias.
@Profitfromcoaching
@Profitfromcoaching 3 жыл бұрын
Of course they're biased. It's the BBC. Imagine a Jamaican commentator back in the day when the great Merlene Ottey was racing. It doesn't matter who else was in the race, they would focus the core of their commentary on the athlete that represents them. It would have been weird if the commentary wasn't biased.

@@mongoslade277 I do agree that 2013 to 2017 is a long time in T&F. Don't know what she did before Moscow when she got the Bronze. But in sprints it' was 2015- 2017. Take from that what you will. She wasn't even that competitive in 2017 when she won the 200m. That was a down year. That was the END.

@@leos8977 Not sure why when people have success they make changes. Around 2018 she split from her coach. Her new coach had her lifting more then she lost her speed. Then the injuries came. With her body type & strength he can run the open 400. Allyson Felix went from the 200 to the 400 when she lost that sprinters speed. Schippers can do the same
@leos8977

@@mongoslade277 Sometimes there is a lot going on behind the scenes. Getting big success at the champs doesn't mean the relationship is great or the best. Felix was always lean, petite and flexible. Shelly-Ann is like fine wine on the track, she has actually improved her technique over the years. Always had speed but her head used to tilt up while running, now she doesn't. Queen of 100m. Saying Elaine Thompson-Herah isn’t the same athlete she was in 2016 didn’t age well at all. Now at 29, she is in the prime of her life. I’m pretty sure she had the best women’s 100m season ever in 2021. Can’t wait to see if she can defend her titles in the 100m and 200m at the Paris 2024 Olympics. If she threw peats in the 100m and 200m, she will be the first woman to do so and the second person to do it behind countryman, Usain Bolt.

Hilarious, the second race, apparently it is a surprise according to the commenter, that the Olympic champion beat Asher-Smith. Let's not forget Thompson, if she can be bothered, is a far superior sprinter. Maybe if the commenter can concentrate in not mashing his words up & let us fans watch without the British bias.

Because if you noticed in the first race Thompson got destroyed💀and then the last time Thompson and Asher-Smith met Dina absolutely clapped her...so thats why they said it was a surprise that Dina lost...and ik its their job to not be biased but its their fellow countrymen so obviously they would want them to win because its only natural

Asher-Smiths parents are Jamaicans. She's running under their banner but she's still one of us. All commentary is usually bias.

Before that last race I was wondering if anyone is gonna beat any of these Jamaicans,, Asher Smith prevailed in the last race but only just, wonder what's in store for 2021, if Shelly still sprinting like what we're seeing here she will still be dominant, Thompson is now fully healed, so the domination might continue, we can look out for Richardson from the USA. and maybe two teenage Jamaicans Brianna Williams and possible Kevona Davies, I'm very disappointed in the fortunes on Candace Hill, she was such an outstanding prospect.

.. euh as an athlete, coach and technical judge in athletics, qualifies as foolish and unfair this false start rule, as if this is so, why not disqualify all the runners who jumped the starter's shot and why not disqualify all the runners who did false start in the past 😔
