Same here, watched rally back in the 90s, then lost interest. Started watching again in around 2017, and after awhile thierry seems to be the guy that interests me the most

My first season following WRC and I chose Thierry Neuville as my pre-season favorite to win the driver's title. I am so pleased to see that my vision came true. Sadly my dream for a Hyundai manufacturer's win this year was gutted right at the last second... Anyway, I think no driver in the 2024 season deserved victory more than Thierry after so many years of falling just short of other drivers. With Rovanpera out of the way, this was his best chance for the win and he took it. WRC criticisms aside, he played the new points system better than anyone else. Truly a brilliant drive from one of the quickest and most clever WRC drivers. Congratulations Thierry! Maybe I'm foolish, but my support is fully behind Fourmaux next year, as he quickly became my new favorite driver as the season went on, lol

@@chowweihsien358 I just got into rally, after basically abandoning F1/F2 because it has just gotten way too boring for me. And seeing Thierry take those country side tarmacs is just insane. I will still be watching F1 but WRC definitely has my priority now. Holy shit, this is just so much cooler in every way.

Thierry will have the pressure of being the new champion but I think that the relief of finally get the championship is more. I whish to see a really good 2025 season with Rovampera, Tanak, Thierry, Evans, and even Pajari. Also hope to see a good performance this time with Ford
