@ I didn’t just mean the players. The style of play, the rivalries, the Super Bowl really meant something. As a football fan, I remember being excited for the Super Bowl regardless of who was playing in it. Now I really don’t care, it’s almost a chore to watch the NFL in general nowadays. I’m not shitting on modern day pros or anything, just my opinion on the NFL as a whole. Also, I’m very tired of the NFL pushing social issues and acting like it’s making a difference. Putting “it takes all of us” in the end zone doesn’t make anyone less of a racist bastard. And what’s with taking away pink accessories for breast cancer? Is breast cancer done? lol nope we get “crucial catch” merchandise that we can buy from the NFL.

Why do I feel like NFL Films doesn't document football like they used to? I feel like Mahomes, Allen's matchups would be documented like this but...they aren't. As a Bostonian, Jesus Christ we had some DOG FIGHTS… I’m glad I was deployed for 09 though 🤣 Saw Peyton opening night 04. Nothing but respect for him! I was stationed at Pearl Harbor from 06-14 as a submariner. When I got to shore duty in 2010, we’d go to Hickman AFB for the pro bowl “practice” meeting Peyton was something else. Fuckin legends.

I can go the rest of my life saying that I had the privilege of watching the greatest QB rivalry in NFL history. The matchups between these two were legendary. I remember watching Peyton Manning and the Colts finally get past NE in the 2006 AFC championship game to move on to the big game and win his first Super Bowl!!! God such great memories as a kid watching these two go at it on the field.
