My grandaddy told me that childbirth is the closest that a woman comes to death. I don't think most people realize what a miraculous sacrifice occurs when bringing new life. For me, the immediate amount of love & protective instincts were overwhelming. I was looking at my beautiful little baby and I felt so nervous that she would have to figure out how to live & navigate in a world that can be so cruel.

Children really are God's blessings, they are the graceful side of our Heavenly Father. You fall in-love from the first time you hear their heartbeat on an ultrasound monitor. No boo. It's extremely painful however it takes your breath away. I mean honestly it hurts so bad that you hold your breath that's why they are always saying breathe breathe. Supposedly it helps the pain. It doesn't lol also your body is so amazing it releases a chemical that causes you to forget the pain from labor and child birth almost instantly. Like you know it hurts bad but you can't remember the actual pain.
