VDL bus with Voith Gearbox. Great compilation where sound is concerned, but for practicality not so much.

@ 7:04 I'm guessing that Go-Ahead London Central WVL would be on Route 11.

@jonny2k100 it's the best box for climbing hills, something the ZF box isn't so gd at. Only decent ZF box is the 6 spd on a Scania or Enviro 400

I'd have to disagree slightly, it depends upon which box exactly, the ZF 4HP500 in the Daf SB220's is very well matched to the bus, the 3 speed Voith in the DB250's sounds fantastic but it just cannot put the power down the way the ZF equivalent can, the 3 speeder holds on to the gears for too long, the 4 speed Voith in the VDL SB200's sounds epic and is really well matched to it, but it's a bit simple, it changes into second too early then has to change back down, both fantastic box's though

Some of Mercedes' older Citaros have voith gearboxes.

@@nathanw9770 I found out some older Scanias and Step entrance Mercs both had some Voith examples around.
