Things like allergies, sensory sensitivities and asthma can be contributors too (and some people really just don't like certain smells). Pay attention to whether or not the response is out of the ordinary for that person, remember to look at mundane explanations too, not JUST mystical ones. If you have a sneezing fit, take allergy medicine, don't jump straight for banishing spells.

nope, not really, it is heavily associated with brujeria,santeria, etc. but it's part of a lot of other cultures too, and even most of the people in brujeria and santeria agree that it isn't closed and can be done by anyone, just make sure you actually know how to read it (some believe that it should be closed, and that's completely valid as well)
