Note: if someone is coughing or getting a headache from your incense it’s most likely because they are sensitive to the smoke or smell or they have asthma. It could also be because the incense being used is cheap and has more chemicals. The sensitivity can be caused by allergies to fragrances, adhd or autism. Mundane is just as important as magickal

hallo! I made a protection snake today, I formed him from clay and put 'black salt' (didn't make it with salt, but with crushed eggshells instead of salt) into the clay :D also I accidentally curled him in such a way when baking him that I can kinda use him as bracelet (not sure if that's the correct word, liek he can go around my arm if that makes sense??) and also he can hold my crystal spheres c:

@@liu246 thank you! I really love making things from clay for my craft, I've made another protector, flowers(they represent different things, planning to use them in spells), I've made little guys during shadow work and I'm planning on doing a lot more in the futute :D (also if you have any questions on how I make them, what I use etc yall can just ask ^^)

I don't know much about clay, last time I worked with it was in elementary school haha! But I would love to try working with clay, it sounds like a lot of fun, and would also probably be a good way to make offerings for deities!!
@KpB2O
@KpB2O Жыл бұрын
@@emmaelliott2373 honestly? you can use any clay you want! you can use litterally anythink you can form into the shape you want with whatever intend you have! for the baking you should look at the packaging (if you use something from a store), if you find any recipes online they normally also tell you how long to bake it for, so that's normally not a problem. the one I've been using for my snake and a few other projects was bought in germany, I can't remember what store tho, the packaging says 'super sculpey' and it's from 'eberhard faber', for this one specifically you should put it in the oven for 15 to 30 min (depending on how big your figure is, mine are normally pretty small so 15 min almost always do teh job) at 130° C, for it to fully harden you should wait until it cools off (you can carefully run cold water over the sculpture to make it cool down faster). other than that I often put random things that were never ment to go into clay into my clay, like for example the black salt, honestly just do what feels fitting and experiment! also most arts and crafts stores I've been in had some sort of clay or something similar, just look around a bit :)

2:54 omg I keep seeing these and people need to understand that just because someone doesn’t like the incense your burning doesn’t mean they are the bad energy. My mom has asthma so I don’t burn it when she’s home and I open the window and others may just not like the smell of it and it could make them get a headache. Sometimes it could drive them away because they have negative energies but that’s not always the case. Mundane before magical and pls be safe. Invest in a fire extinguisher and open the windows/keep pats out of the space your burning things in as they have very small lungs and it can be life threatening. Stay safe y’all have a good day/night

I’m not sure why I’m sharing this but my first spell was a beauty spell with my BFF and we forgot to do protection before and my BFF accidentally spawned a demon who has been haunting her dreams and sending her death threats. Now my friend is not a witch I am the witch but she gets far more spiritual messages than me, her great grandmother’s spirit actually visits her once every other month. I have just started teaching her witchcraft.

But Christians (starting with the Romans) did incorporate pagan holidays into their religion to convert pagans easier to Christianity. 😅 It’s in many history books. St. Patty’s Day is to literally celebrate St. Patrick and how he got rid of all of the snakes (witches/ pagans/ etc.) in Ireland. Ostara, which is the celebration of the spring equinox is March 21st. St. Patrick’s Day is March 17th. I think that’s more than just a coincidence.

Since like a little less than two weeks ago, I am trying to get a new job. After the interview, I bought a green candle that I burn one hour a day for eight days. Got called back and doing a week of try in the new job. Now I keep manifesting. Like, I won't say "If I have the job" but more "When I'll have it and sign the contract" :)

@@YourWitchyCousinTikTokComps haha yeah I am aware. It was just a joke. I just remembered when the craft came out and every girl in 8th grade was all of a sudden a witch. I do find pagan history fascinating though. I know that's where most of our modern traditions come from. I particularly like Celtic paganism, too bad it wasn't preserved in writing like Christianity was.

there's no such thing as a closed practice. you think the universe cares about that? so unevolved.
@fireflysflight114
@fireflysflight114 Жыл бұрын
Actually, there is. In the same way that culture appropriation can happen in the mundane, it can happen in the magical as well. Think of it as if you made art, and then someone copied off your art purely for clout and likes and didn't respect the fact that you *specifically* said, in your bio, not to copy, trace, or steal your art. Why? Because it's your art! You put time and love into it! It's the same way with the magical. Just because something is there doesn't mean you should take it. And there is nothing 'unevolved' about respecting other people and the boundaries of practices. It's a very key part of witchcraft itself. Closed practices are like art: don't steal them just because it's there or you think it looks nice. Now go do some goddamn research-

I've been thinking about this concept a lot... I think part of the problem is the monolithic approach: everything is either a closed or open practice, and you can either do whatever the f*** you want or have to keep a ten foot pole between yourself and anything to do with it. I think, when you think seriously about it, the only practices that aren't closed are the various types of reconstructionist paganism, because there are way more questions than answers about the "right" way to practice and even the most esteemed archaeologists are constantly debating and changing their minds about what went on in the past. Any kind of folk practice can become appropriative if you are working from a completely outsider's perspective and have little knowledge of or respect for the original culture. On the other hand, any kind of organized practice has rules for how to join and what is accessible to casual members vs initiated members vs experienced priests. In the cases of both folk and organized practices, it's important to not just grab what looks shiny and claim it for yourself. You need to do some research, and evaluate your relationship with the community in question. I think the closed/open distinction goes too far when it discourages research and assumes all closed practices have the same guidelines for what is closed and what is okay to share. It also tends to ignores the existence of people who are in the margins of a community. There are people who are multicultural, have mixed ancestry, are considering initiation, feel ostracized from their original community and want to learn what else is out there, etc. These people usually come from a place of pain and struggle with a sense of lost identity, and oversimplifying the debate can really add to their hurt and confusion. ...Apparently I'm just going to keep leaving long comments overthinking this (rolls eyes at self). If you've read this far, thanks!

Intention is everything. Learning a practice is closed and doing it anyway against the wishes of others will not bring you success. It’s basic respect. Even for your own safety. It’s disrespectful at best and dangerous at worst, as I highly doubt deities from closed practices appreciate the attitude of “I can take wherever I want”. The universe absolutely does see intention. What’s actually “unevolved” is acting from a place of such immense ego and self-centeredness that you think you can take what does not belong to you. The Gods despise that kind of mortal arrogance.
