I don't know if it's because where we are it's nothing but flat farmland everywhere but I just love riding next to a lake or river, just water of any kind, it's a beautiful sight and just peaceful. looked like a fun road to ride as well.

Sheetz is for Gold wing guys , Buc-ee's is for Harley riders which each has over 200 gas pumps at each station in Alabama Georgia, Florida each is a trip just to walk through . Seriously thanks for the ride along be safe enjoy the videos.

Down there around Logan you also have Old Man's Caves there in the Hocking Hills. Nice park to take day hike, but yeah there are a lot of twisty roads in that area.

It might be nice to have a Sheetz out here in Vegas. I figure if we have Terrible Herbsts or Terribles, we should have a Sheets. There is however a Terribles in Jean Nevada off I 15 at exit 12 that has a multitude of eateries and 9 pumps.

I am Blessed to live just 12 miles South of Athens, Ohio. About half way between Athens and Pomeroy, Ohio. I am here to tell you the Windy 9 is just the tip of the iceberg. There are some wonderful roads in SE Ohio with many beautiful views. And just across the river from West Virginia. My wife and I have rode almost 400,000 miles in eight states since 1994. She has battled cancer eight times, had 12 surgeries in ten years, maxed out on Chemo, maxed out on radiation maxed out on Cyber knife treatments. She is currently on Immunotherapy treatments and will be every 28 days for the rest of her life. She's had six places of cancer in her brain and one of them was causing seizures. That's when we went to a Tri-Glide. Our thoughts were, if she had a seizure on our Heritage it might cause an accident injuring both of us and possibly others. We feel on the trike I should be able to pull over and tend to her needs.She had brain surgery two years ago to remove the spot that was causing the seizures, but it left her like a stroke victim. Her left side is very weak and she doesn't have very good contril of her left side. But she still likes to ride. I have to help her on the motorcycle these days, but that's alright because at least we are still riding. We use to average 15,000 miles a year, but we are down to about 10,000 a year now. If you are ever back in SE Ohio and want to ride some terrific roads give me a shout. Thanks for the video ride safe and enjoy every journey.

As far as a connection with truckers, in my small sample of truck drivers I know and know about, a lot of them ride bikes.

Boy you just ragged on Texas & Bucees & those are fighting words. Bucees is fixin to build a 75,000sqft gas station w/120 gas pumps & every pump will be used. I’ve been to a Sheetz & it’s just another gas station. Being that I’m a truck driver, yes, we love Harley Davidson! Most of us ride on our days off. Some owner operators have custom rigs so they carry their Harley w/them. Harley Davidson is a way of life not just a fad.
