The fourth one is actually more about "War of the Worlds" with Tom Cruise than it is about "Saw". I just searched for it in your videos and didn't find it there. So if you haven't seen it you may want to watch it before watching "Scary Movie 4". It does make watching the latter way funnier if you get where the jokes are coming from after all. Also "Brokeback Mountain" and "The Village" are movies that you may want to watch before it as well.

5 is fine... it's based on an obscure horror called Mama, Paranormal Activity, and a few others I won't spoil because they're kind of self explanatory. Is it as good as 1 & 2? Of course not, but we do get returning cast from this film.

The first 3 Scary Movies are a fun time. 4 has its moments but 5 isn’t good at all. The only reason it didn’t have Cindy & Brenda is because they wanted to hire a younger cast. Both actors joked that they weren’t asked back. Then again it did have a huge gap between 4 & 5!

This and the first one are my favorites of the franchise :D. 2 I didn't like too well.3 I freaking loved. 4 is good overall. 5 isn't the worst thing ever, but it's the worst Scary Movie film, but I'd still suggest check it out and judge it for yourself. Simon Rex and Charlie Sheen do appear in 5 too but as different characters so in a way 5's like in a different universe.
