So I did that with Ghost Face and it was a controversial decision 😂 But my rationale with Yoichi is that he is foundationally a licensed character first who BHVR then was allowed to fully flesh out 98% their story. But I do see your point.

I was really happy to see Sable win overall but i wasn't surprised that she would win. Everyone seems to love her and I agree with what you said. I do feel like a lot of people resonate with her and adore her because of her edginess. However, I feel like the dbd community has been asking for a goth survivor and when BHVR finally delivered, the community went wild. As a goth myself, I can confirm that I freaked out finding out about her and I have recently got her to p100! I was also really happy to see the Mikaela love too! She is also one of my mains and I absolutely LOVE her lore! It's one of the biggest reasons why I fell in love with her. And what boosts her up even more is that her and Sable's lore are connected! It was SO AWESOME to find out they were best friends! However, I was disappointed to see Nea so low. I feel like I'm the only person who genuinely loves her lore and character. I think it's awesome that she's a graffiti artist. I really felt for her when she was forced to move to the US and leave her old life behind. But i think it's really cool that that's what made her start rebelling and causing trouble. I feel like she is so hated though because her players are usually always toxic - clicking their flashlights and always up in the killers face to get their attention. However, if people looked passed that, I feel like people would maybe appreciate her more! Nea also has my absolutely favourite cosmetic in the game which is the graff crafter outfit. It's exactly what I would envision Nea to wear. I've been maining that cosmetic for over a year now and I quite literally don't take it off her. I was quite surprised to see Feng as low as she was.. kind of? Although Feng is very popular and you see her in most of your lobbies, I feel like everyone has mixed feelings for her. It's a similar situation to Nea's. However, Feng's lore is so interesting! Sad, but interesting! I felt like in many ways I could relate to her and I always fall in love with the characters I can relate with. Not only is her lore incredible, she's the character with the overall best cosmetics in my personal opinion and that's why I feel a big chunk of the community enjoy playing her. However, the toxic Feng players give her a bad name, which makes me believe why people heavily dislike her. Or maybe it's because she's given too many cosmetics often? I can't complain about that though - i love her. 🥺 I was thrilled to hear that Yui and Kate were in your top three though! Yui's story is incredibly well done and Kate's is really interesting. I love how Kate is the ray of hope in the entity's realm. I'm currently trying to get my p100 Yui and Kate atm too. But yeah, Yui and Kate are definitely up there for me. However, my top favourite survivors will always be my first four p100's - Feng, Nea, Mikaela and Sable.

I'm not surprised Sable won, she's got interesting lore, a great design, and her chapter is one of the best in a long time, The Unknown is one of the coolest killers in the game imo

long winded comment on my favorites incoming! there will be no ranking because all of them are my beloveds jake: he is my favorite of the original 4, i looooove his backstory and think theres so much to explore with him! i am a roleplayer, and jake is one of the most frequent characters i roleplay, so ive gotten a lot of time to reeeeally delve deep into his character claudette: theres a special place in my heart for claudette, as she was my first main. im an autistic person who resonates with her story sooooo much. i was also very lonely as a child, with the internet being my haven, where most of my bonds growing up where made, and still to this day im highly highly active on the internet and it is a great source of comfort aswell as the majority of my friends being on there. i also have a soecisl interest in insects just as she does, and id like to think that im empathetic in a lot of ways despite my autism. she is me fr, and was my first love in dbd zarina: i also adore her lore, esoecially as soneone with a strong belief in human rights and supporting and uplifting marginalized groups. zarina is unapologetically outspoken and stands up for what she believes in. she triesxto be the change, and that is something i highly admire. i wish i was brave enough to be her. i also love her interaction with her fathers killer renato: again, like claudette, the autistic dbd community has claimed renato and to us hes very obviously autistic. i resonate with him a lot, less so than claudette, but still relate to him a lot. both claudette and renato are great representation in that they subvert stereotypes (and also they arent just neeby white guys, the black female autism representation is huge! renato is also a person of color and is clearly very sporty aswell). claudette is loving, understanding, and empathetic while renato, in his lore, shows he is capable of learning the importance of bonding and community. but hes still renato, competitive and seeing people like curious little puzzles which is so fucking relatable. hes also very cute :] gabriel: surprise surprise i adore his lore lmaO. but fr he was the first suevivor to be as unique as he was, and i think out if all original survivors his story is the saddest. hes also very fun and heartbreaking to think about sable: sighs..... my contrarion heart hates to say it, but i do indeed love sable. im a horror loving goth (actual trad goth who listens to the music. snd btw sable is actually not goth, shes gothIC, but still she is the closest thing to my fashion sense so eh) and i love her design and all things wicked is an amazing chapter. ecen as someone who usually rather love the less loved characters, i gotta admit, bhvr did sonething very right with sable and her entire chapter and the marketing and UGH all things wicked my beloved
