Nice helpful video Chris, I tried a few overlays and RaceLabs is the best. The pro features are very cool, the head to head overlay allowing you to see your friends times/inputs every time you race a track they have raced is a nice feature, the live track map and pit info and fuel calculator too 👍

The overlay is causing input lag on my iRacing - I've got 32gb ram, 4070ti and i9-9900k so it shouldn't be a hardware issue. It's a great overlay but I just can't stand the input lag so I won't be able to use it unless I can eliminate the input lag. Any help would be much appreciated

@Chris Dunster Racing really noob question but on the racelab relative what does the yellow L1 or L3 tell me. I understand it means L for Lap but what is it telling me Cheers

No problem! I'm pretty sure it's the lap which that car has come into the pits. Doesn't really help in practice etc but useful on longer races to see if the car ahead has stopped recently or not

hey dude! the problem im running into is getting rid of iRacings default relatives (black boxes). I have RaceLabs overlays AND iRacings default overlays and my screen is too cluttered. how did you get rid of you iRacing ones? at the end of your video you screen looks very clean and clutter free.

I'm sure there would be a way to do that. I run the iracing blackbox on my right hand screen with race overview on it and keep the racelab overlay on the main screen. It's the F keys to toggle the blackboxes (F1,F2 etc) so maybe you can turn them off completely with those? Sorry can't help more than that right now

Glad you enjoyed it. I don't have a setup for vr sorry. I am using vr a little bit more, but not competitively yet, so haven't used the overlay. If I start using it more, I'll be able to help, but not at the moment sorry!

In graphics your also need to set max cars too 63 as iracing defaults to 20 cars but then you dont get the information for the other 10 or more cars.

Thank you for taking the time and effort to do the video. If this is a "How To Install and Use it" then you missed out on a lot of info that got my blood luke warm. When i see a video named as your is i hope to see what the name says. When i opened the overlay it looked nothing like yours, no mane no stats etc. I`m not going on i just wanted to thank you for it but maybe change the name.

I never want to lock my overlays. For some reason I cant get the track map overly to default to unlocked

I'm not sure tbh. I would think you could, as the dash is pretty flexible and customisable. But I don't know that one, sorry!

How do you keep it in full screen, when I go full screen on iracing the overlays disappear

I think by checking the status of full screen and bordered that stops this, it's been a while since I recorded the video now though
