Yes. Spyder paintball guns are great overall. I would make sure you watch the video and make sure the Xtra has the features you enjoy before buying it.

I don't know about all of you, but I've been using my dad's original Tipp M98. It shoots like a champ, even though it's almost 20 years old, and I like to think that it saves me money. Forces trigger discipline, if you know what I'm saying.

Jordan, The Griffin and Salvo both have similar internals and are both very reliable. They use the same internals or similar as the Tippmann 98 does which is one of the most durable paintball guns in history.

We sell them as an upgrade from the Kaos. Mainly because they are able to shoot at a higher rate of fire and work similar to the kaos.

The Azodin Kaos is a great entry level marker. The only problem I have had with it is the shooting but that is just because I have a crappy Gravity Hopper. If you get an Azodin Kaos, I suggest you buy an HPA tank (High Pressured Air) and an electric hopper. Electric hoppers have a rotary system that force feeds paintballs into your marker so you won't have to 'shake and shoot'.

Yes, the internals are identical to the Tippmann 98 so very durable.

I bought the Azodin Kaos as a cheap backup gun. I had to use it the other weekend and I was very surprised at how well it shoots. It has a nice sturdy feel without being too heavy. I wouldn't bother with an electronic hopper, a Primo works perfectly. If you want to splurge, get a better barrel....stock isn't bad, but there is certainly room for improvement.

I have a 2009 spyder sonix which is the victor exactly just it has a front grip covering the hose I bought it brand new in 2009 and it has performed great for me . I love it

I have the azodin kaos. I used it five times so far and I have to say it is extremely reliable. Although out of the box I had to increase the velocity quite a bit, but other than that it is amazing

Spyder makes great guns for the price. The MR100 is a light weight easy to maintain gun.

the second gun doesn't need a tool to tighten the hopper....that what the silver clamp is for ...works like a bicycle seat clamp..or a handel bar adjustment on a razor scooter

The Kaosis great but It feels a bit slippery because it's not like a stub grip that's a bit easier to hold on, to but the kaos has very few downsides and one of the few IMO is the handle grip has a pointy side and if you do not have gloves they can hit you're hand but it's very slight and not something to worry about.

Try upgrading the barrel to a CP one piece barrel or JJ Ceramic 14 inch and try to upgrade the paintballs you are using. You should see it become more accurate immediately.

Kaos is a very nice gun for the money, I had it for a year now, but its my back up now since im using the Planet Eclipse Etha. Kaos with the etha stock barrel is really nice also, which is the Shaft4 barrel

when i played in late 90s early 2000s i bought a anodized green spyder(cant think of model) it had a large front grip/ pressure or moisture feature, i forget what its called but every single time i played the bolt jammed literally every time. come outta game pop the bolt out clean it/lube it up like it was when it jammed and then it would never jam till the next time i played. Made no since and nobody could figure out why it was happening bc i cleaned it and took perfect care of it. Nothing against spyder, they make great guns. bc it was a long time ago and seemed to an isolated issue. back then angels were a 1000$. im looking to get back into the sport.

best entry level gun is a smart parts vibe used from ebay, you get FULL automatic on stock board. and you can change firing mode with one touch in the middle of the game.much quieter and reliable than any of those.

It is built on the inside similar to the 98 so it is a durable gun but lacks the possibility of being upgraded like most other tippmanns.

I had the azodin kaos for about 2 years then I wanted to move up to something better so I got the azodin blitz it's a really good gun for about $170 but its worth it and if you guys/girls are going to get any of these guns I suggest to use compressed air it's better trust me

No, on the Kaos there is no regulator. The front grip is only a gas through grip and does not control the pressure going into the gun.

My set is the... Tiberius Arms T9.1 Elite (Best Gun in the World. It is a Sniper and a machine gun!) 3 Paint Grenades (Just to chuck into buildings to destroy EVERYONE!) I played this 1 game using the Tiberius in Sniper Mode, I shot 6 bullets and took out 6 opponents. Used 2 Paint Grenades took out 5 people.

Not a big fan of tiberius anymore. They really are a greedy company. I sold my t8.1 and t9.1 setup last month but I sure did have fun playing magfed! Going to get a used Luxe 2.0.

Well I know that saving up that amount of money seems ridiculous for most people who aren't really to in to the sport. But I think also that paintball stores should encourage people to save up their money. I've seen people with spiders on the field and they don't gain any performance at all and break or leak.

@marko simic IKR! I had the I ring inside the grip always coming out and my bro helped me fix it by replacing it. Then it happend again! And it is still like that right now! I'll fix it later wen I go paintball in again... This gun is over all (azodin kaos) amazing though! It may seem like it has a light trigger, true but don't shoot to fast, u could chop paint in the gun like I did :/

if that plastic grip frame on the spyder victor is anything like AGD or WGP's plastic grip frames, its stronger than metal, tensile strength/fail point wise. >.> you could take a hammer to some of the plastics on these guns and it would bouce right off.

salem henson terrible accuracy, leaks, unreliable, and it just breaks all the time, me and 3 friends all had one and they all broke, the gun is not a good one, a tippman gryphon will do u just fine tho man

If you didn't get anything as of yet let me make a few recommendations as some that's ha played this sport for a while. Get your gun last! you wanna by your 4 major pieces in this order. Mask, hopper, tank and then gun. If you do it this way you will be a lot better off. If you want I can explain more. Let me know.

Of those three the kaos is easily the best probably the best gun for $100. But when it comes down to it literally any gun that cheap is gonna work and shoot the same. I have an Alpha Black and my friend has the kaos they shoot the same speed distance you name it

tippmann a5 was my first gun been good for me the only real downside to it is unless your gonna throw alot of money at it it is pretty much a semi fire weapon i put a barrel on mine and stoped after that didnt like response trigger and a e-grip and a board to make it full auto was way out of my budget saving to get the crossover so i wont have to buy a new barrel

Unfortunately the Gryphon is more difficult to take apart and clean than all of the guns listed and has a plastic shell. It is a good gun overall but doesn't offer all of the benefits we wanted to show.

I will be playing woodsball for the most part and I was wondering what gun you would recommend?? I have no budget but I'm not going to go to crazy. Im with paintball because I dont have an airsoft field. Paintball is expensive but its fun to me. For paintball if you get hit everyone can see that you are hit. Its very unique that you use paintballs and guns that dont look real there are scenario guns but they are not as effective as smaller normal paintball guns. Get the Kaos and buy a CP 1 piece barrel and a HPA tank and your own mask. Co2 is not great for the cold.

Paintball is generally more expensive Paintball fields are more common Paintball (most of the time) is more fast paced then airsoft, so it depends which one you like Paintball hurts more One is not more fun, depends if you like more slow, realistic things (airsoft) or faster, more "sporty" things (paintball). Not to say that airsoft cant be casual and that paintball can't be realistic though.

Paintball is way more expensive and fun ! The guns are also more quality . Paintball hurts a lot more and if you play airsoft for a while you can't really feel it. I would rather play paintball any day .

LOL NOPE! Tippmanns have HORRIBLE resale value so good luck upgrading. I've thrown hundreds of dollars on my first tippmann (oh the days)... I have a Luxe and I STILL HAVEN'T SOLD IT. You're going to spend about $150 on a new tippmann 98. Screw that and get a used Invert mini or dangerous power g5 which are INFINITELY better guns...
