I absolutely love that theyve made relic farming less of a luck based and time limited grind and an actual cultivated inventory. Just the fact that you can rebuild your perfect relic to be slightly better is amazing for the long-term health of the game!

If you know what happened with Genshin when they added the new sanctifying elixir, it's basically the same here with the new wishful resin. And what that means is you can lock in your double crit, but when you level up the relic it will still go murphys law and roll into HP/DEF instead. Variable dice is only a reroll and doesnt actually let you pick how to reallocate the stat enhancements so it doesn't really count as being a true solution if your substat rolls went bad.

so far 100% of my sanctifying elixir crafts in Genshin have gone straight into the garbage can after max rolling into the other two bad stats lol. This system has actually made my artifact experience even LESS fun than before somehow.

Damn Epic seven gear substat reroll is already bad since you can't reach the max stat when you reroll (example would be getting only 8-12 crit chance instead of its max value of 15-18 crit chance) but at least you can choose what substat you want to change.

Relic rerolls and substat picks is all i ever wanted. i have spent an ungodly amount of time relic farming, getting the perfect relic after weeks, then getting screwed over by terrible rolls. Everuthing in the patch upodate was incredible but this relic update is what changed everything for me. Also the new 3.0 characters look amazing. Excited to pull for e0s1 sunday then save til 3.1

The new relic items are much needed, but it'll all hinge on how rare they are. If I can only get 1 variable dice and 2 resin per patch, it's going to BARELY make the grind better. I do have some pieces that have amazing substats but worst case scenario rolls so I'd love to get those dice.

And yet we can’t choose specific quantity of substats. If I want 4 speed sub stats rolls, I can never guarantee that with these new items. Sure I can reroll the substats, but there is no rememberance involved with the item meaning I cannot even save specific quantities of substats .

It’ll probably be similar to Genshin in that regard. Set your expectations to 1 dice and 4 resin per patch.

It'll actually make a huge difference. It's very easy to get great double crit rolls on hat/gloves. So that's only boots, chest, orb and chain. If you do some grinding on the sets, it doesn't take that long to get a couple of those pieces with good stats. Which means you're only going to need to use the new items on a couple of pieces, probably orb and chain. Also, you don't need crazy substats on supports. Yes, you can go crazy on speed stacking, but it's really not necessary. So that means even a few of these new relic items will make a huge difference to your main dps.

they put out a developer radio for 3.0 and it looks like we can get upto 8 resin per patch, dice is a liitle bit tricky and different, better just read the developer radio for yourself on hoyolab or x or wherever

thanks for the codes and yeah, really hyped about the remembrance, amphoreus characters, but I'm interested to know your thoughts on how heavily they will make the reliance on Sunday for all remembrance characters? because that's basically a whole path of characters at maybe 50% strength without a single support that fits perfectly for that entire path, and what about people wanting to run remeberance characters, since there are no lightcones for them in the game, so pulling for limited ones might be a big concern, or at least definitely pulling on weapon banner a decent bit, to get some remembrance Lightcones, maybe a new herta shop one will get released as well

i love that they showed the upcoming characters : hopefully they will also give hints of what is their plan for their respective gameplays too (a only general direction, obviously too early for details). This would reduce the rush for "forbidden knowledge" that is so critical for pulls planning but with the risk of story spoilers and hype bender

Not looking at the leak above but there are differences -This was in the livestream, and in the one where hoyoverse has habitually previewed content/characters for the next "region". -They are featured in a character preview post on their Twitter accounts which allows you to share the character you're most excited for. The only Penacony stream previewed character that didn't get that was Duke Inferno. And technically Firefly got posted twice for that because she has her own button + one for Sam. -I'm assuming when you say the family you mean Duke Inferno's? But they were teased in a separate video from the livestream and there was no confirmation they were actually playable for Penacony. They were probably shown off due to Duke Inferno dying in the main story and Constance making a cameo, so they needed to preface who they were / background relevance. I am sure whatever the leak above might suffice but if you don't look at leaks then at least there's some background to base my confirmation on :)

At least 4 Remembrance units which summon memosprites (renamed from servants, possibly because of conflict with masters and servants from Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works and the 2025 collaboration between HSR and FSN:UBW) appear to be planned for 3.x, including Remembrance Trailblazer, Aglaea, and Catorice, a quantum HP scaling unit. The red-haired loli Tribbie is a messenger of the Chrysos Heirs and a demigod of Janus, the Roman god of beginnings, gates, transitions, time, duality, doorways, passages, frames, and endings. There is no Greek equivalent of Janus (but instead an Etruscan one, Culśanś). So Ancient Rome as well as Ancient Greece and Honkai Impact 3rd (e.g., Flame-Chasers) have inspired HSR 3.0+.

QoL-wise this is the best patch so far. But tbh, the biggest impact was during 1.6 especially the free Ratio part. It got everyone screaming (me included 😅). Excited for Mydei too, the Gilgamesh of HSR.

The new relic customization actually sucks, once you read the costs and limits of these new items. One Variable Dice costs 2 SMR - completely insane. If anything, it should be the other way around 3 dice for 1 SMR.

Even with the full kit reveal, I'm still not pulling for Sunday because Remebrance summons feel different from the existing summons we have. The fact that they appear on the actual team line-up means they can be targetted in for buffs in battle.

If you don't want him that's fine. Truthfully, even if he's their only direct buffer, no support should be required to make a character (and their summon) feel strong. I'm getting him because I love Sunday but I don't actually have much interest in the summon meta; I prefer FUA and am just glad that Sunday can buff Jing Yuan due to the nature of LL being a summon.
