Mr Red White and Blue was written for a young veteran named Craig Carp that served our country. A true patriot. I was lucky enough to help him get a home with the Military Warriors Support Foundation. Mr Red White and Blue was written for him and ALL of our heroes that serve our country, for the families that miss them, and for those currently serving now. This is the perfect song to celebrate Independence Day (4th of July), Veterans Day, or Memorial Day.

"Mr. Red White and Blue"
Coffey
Lyrics:
Its the guts and its the glory, a hundred stripes a hundred stories
It's the pledge of Allegiance on the 4th of July
Its the handwritten letters from home,
its the sleepless nights alone
It's his newborn baby he left with his wife.
Mr Red White and Blue
Lay down his life
Mr Red White and Blue
For these Stars and Stripes
From the fields of Indiana
to the swamps of Louisiana
To the golden coast of Californ'
Uncle Sam's the only family he's got
His purple heartbeat wont stop
and his 18th birthday was the day he was born
Chorus
patriotic song, military song,

Coffey, thank you for your music. This song means so much to me. My son is an Army Vet that came home with severe PTSD. He served in the war 6 of his 8 years of service. He was a gunner. Jumped in at the age of 18 and is now 36. He has finally settled into life with a beautiful wife and her daughter and together they have a disabled son of 6 years old. All of that just to say how much I appreciate you! Even thru the tears ❤❤

Thank you for your courage and patriotism, especially in today’s world. Our military recruitment and retention is so poor right now and it is refreshing and hopeful to hear about a new Warrior stepping up! Hey, man! This is to let you know that there likely are some mighty challenges ahead that might seem insurmountable at times, but a little triumph makes up for a lot of suffering leading up to it. The actual service is often a lot less noble and a lot less glamorous than the sheer idea of serving, but eventually, it will all boil down to your ''why''. Greetings from Germany!

It hurts to be absent from my baby girl’s life, but I’m fighting to make sure she has one to live. Despite how messed up this nation can get, this is the greatest place on Earth. I love this nation, it is the place I was born and where I was raised. I will die defending the Red, White, and Blue. I will die defending that banner and what it stands for. I will die to keep my family safe under what that flag stands for. Because it means that much to me. I love this nation with all my heart and all my soul. And I will do anything to protect it. My dad was in the Marine Corps for 31 years. He was gone at times for long times and I missed him. To this day, I still have his letters and treasure them. But in all those times away, I understood why and I was so proud and i ran to him and jumped in his arms when he came home. My prayers go out to all the veterans and their families. You have my thanks and respect.

My dad served in Korea. He was shot in the leg and shrapnel just below the knee of his right leg. 70 years later, Oct. 17, 2022, his leg was amputated from above the knee. He is healthier today than he was 3 years ago. He had osteomylis. He feels better and looks healthier than I've seen him over the years. The infection is gone. He finally got his permanent leg last month. Waiting for his PT to start up again. To all those who fought for this country, I don't care where you served, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you and your families have done. May God bless you and keep y'all safe. Thank you to the families of those who gave ultimate sacrifice. I know there is nothing I can say. But I just had to say thank you.

It would sound very strange for a person whose army was abolished many years ago, but I say it from the bottom of my heart that every time I hear this song I start to cry, since I ask God for no more wars, no more soldiers fallen in action, it is part of daily life until the coming of God, but I always cry when I see videos of soldiers regardless of the country who arrive home safely and twice as much when they receive the Flags as a symbol of respect and honor for their losses.

As an immigrant of the United States coming from Mexico, receiving citizenship in 2008 thanks to my hardworking parents, there will never be a day I turn my back on this beautiful country and the brave men and women that preserve its fundamental freedoms every single day. I'm proud of the roots of my Mexican heritage but we shall never forget those men and women who died in the name of freedom, the men and women who let us go out and enjoy our merry lives, have cookouts, watch the fireworks on the fourth, go on road trips across the country, and admire the lives we posses... if you're reading this comment and you are serving, have served, or any sort of relation, GOD BLESS YOU, thank you for everything you have done for our nation and for that flag to continue waving for years to come. God bless your heart. My son was with the 82nd Airborne for six years an expert marksman and came out out of it a Sgt., Decorated, with brain damage, back and leg damages. I asked him would your do again. He told me damn strait I would. And though he has suffered greatly. He is now contracted with the Army. He is now a trainer. And training to be an Army dog trainer. Because one saved his life in Afghanistan. Nothing can take down a soldier ever. Many have given up their meat suit for their country their family, their freedom. But no MF can never have your soul. I understand that being a soldier is a calling that not a lot of people get. I come from a military family. I get it! I love all of you. You have the kind of courage that changes the world. I have the utmost respect for you. Love you. From a military mom. Godspeed!!!!

My father passed away from Alzheimer's in June of 2016 at the age of 92. He remembered very little of anything recent, but he sure remembered the old times of when he had served this country. He would tell us these stories over and over again, mostly funny stories, but when it came to the bad, he would just bow his head and shake it, and with mourning, disbelief, and tragedy in his face, just say 'the things I had seen'. Nothing more needed saying. Those good memories he would share though, and those are the memories I hold dear. He was a tiny man, and the other soldiers would tease him about that. He would laugh and tell us how once he had to jump from boat to boat as the ships rocked back and forth, crashing against each other, hoping he'd make it to the other side. He didn't have a driver's license, too scared to drive, but he needed one in the Army. So they sent him out on a tanker, the tanker chugging and jolting, forwards and back, as he gave it his best. They gave him his license anyway, and afterwards, the other soldiers joked with him and said that they wanted to ride with Copie, that they'd never get hit. He had some very fond memories of his time serving, memories that the disease allowed him to keep and die with. Also, the bad. But either way, he was proud to have served, and a soldier in his platoon who had outlived him helped lay the flag on his coffin. He took the pride of serving his country with him. RIP, 'Copie', my dad. We miss you dearly, as does the country you served.

I lived in Dayton for a year on Horton Street. Worst neighborhood I've ever lived in. Saw more heroin and Fentanyl overdoses than I ever cared to see. It was a regular thing on that street. Or walking from 123 Horton to the Walgreens or the Family Dollar across the street from there, and if you didn't see at least 20 dirty needles on the 2 block walk, then it was a safe-ish walk
