It really just depends what your base frame rate is as that will determine how frame gen feels and lower its latency. when you get to 140 - 200 range with it on it actually feels / looks pretty good defiantly better feeling then 60 - 80 frames

It's crazy. I have Ryzen 5700X CPU and 2060 GPU. Usually in multiplayer games i have no FPS problem but in this game, i'm playing at 10-15 FPS's in teamfights. It's unbelievable. I've tried everything it doesn't work i'm just gonna wait for an update for them to solve it.

I have a Ryzen 9 5900X and a RX 6600 XT.. I was getting around 30-50 fps on medium, fsr on quality, no FG. But i updated drivers now I'm not dropping from 100 fps. check if nvidia drivers are up to date.

@@ttvcleoleo215 That's the first thing i checked but it didnt work. Do you know what did work? I disabled all frame generation in settings and now is game more smooth around 80-100 FPS. The only problem is Wakanda map. I get around 40 FPS in that map.

The Windows gamebar options and the 3D gpu options actually helped me, thank you. Every bit is needed on my setup with an good cpu ( 12600k ) but an old GPU ( GTX 1070Ti ). I have all settings in the game on low and the super resolutions typ i choose the intel XeSS with Ultraquality and with Frame generations and nvidia low latency on. Now i have enough for my 120HZ monitor.

I got 3060ti with 16gbs of ram, I experience the same issue. Usually 160 at high settings, but in fights my fps drop TERRIBLY. Sometimes when I alt tab and get back into the game, the fps is constantly at around 30-40

i used these settings mostly for the visibility bc this game is a visual MESS, they really need to roll out a patch with both a visual overhaul and a substantial performance boost.... my game doesn't even stutter it just straight up crashes every 5 minutes

Are all monitors the same refresh rate? Most games don’t like when you have multiple monitors with different Hz. I unplug the extra monitors when I game or else I can’t get 240 on my main

I run on a laptop tho.... Mine is RTX 2050 16gb ram Intel 11th Gen i5-11400H @2.70GHz...... it's like 80 fps at the start but drops to 15 fps and sometimes 10 fps mid fight..... Maybe it's my rig no!?

Man, I have a GTX 1650 on my laptop. 22gb RAM (16+8 minus 2 for the Vega) and processor is a ryzen 7 3750H, which is not much but it's getting 70 fps on low settings most of the time, but there are frequent frame drops on certain maps or when skills are used such as Dr. Strange's portal, sometimes it drops to 30fps. I also take a lot of time to load into the match, sometimes it's already started and I haven't been able to pick a character yet. And sometimes the models are just invisible, or just my character. Takes around 30seconds to load them. It's definitely not well optimized even with our "weak" laptops. It looks like a mobile game, it shouldn't require so much to run stable at 60fps on lower settings.

1080p should map perfectly to a 4k monitor. It is called integer scaling. I think you would likely find the extra frames from 1080p worth it. Even if it is only a 60hz monitor, making the frame rate to double or triple the refresh rate (like 120hz or 180hz even 240hz) can help make it more responsive, because you get to see more recent frames. But for competitive gaming a very high refresh rate monitor helps a lot more than resolution. Higher refresh rate mean more frames seen which is better than just the fresher frames you get from exceeding your monitor's refresh rate. If anyone is going to try lowering the resolution. make sure the numbers (difference in resolution) work out to integer scaling. So 4k is the same as 2160p. and 2160p/2 = 1080p you want to be able to take the native resolution of your monitor and divide by a whole number (integer) to get the resolution you set it to. On a 1440p if you want higher fps try 720p for example (1440p/2=720p). But If you don't divide by an integer it will be blurrier due to the more awkward resolution conversion.
