Encre Noir itself is not very expensive, about 2000-3000. It's main note is khus or Vetiver. If you like vetiver try Ruh Khus attar or oil, should be widely available everywhere in India. You can get for 300-500 probably. If you want to try in deo or perfume form I found Nike Vetiver to smell good.

Hydra energy can be considered as coolwater clone..but blanc gives slight hints of cool water in the dry down. Falls in the same category. I think thats what he meant.

In my opinion, both are slightly less green and so more modern than Coolwater. If you have smelled both which one did you like? Whichever one you liked get that. If i can give you one advice don't just get something because it is a clone get it if you like it.

Anshul bhai the Noir version is also called Leather oud on the box, and it is considered clone of Dior Leather Oud from their prive line though i have not tried that. You are also right it is similar to black orchid as well. So one thing I will say is it is not for beginners or young guys in my opinion.

Well bhai I m also kind of agreed with you but why I said it’s good for young guys because it’s loud fragrance somewhere and off lately have met few youngsters they shared their feedback that they are liking the fragrance of noir but still I can say liking is subjective and varies from subject to subject.
