This explains why German stores on BrickLink always have such extreme quantities of parts! They've had exclusive access this whole time! Seriously, even though this was like 10 years ago, I would find that German stores always had more varied and extremely high quantities of parts, but I never bought from them because International shipping, but now it makes sense. Oh and Ben, you have to share just how much you paid for all your parts, I have to imagine you got some of the best deals you've ever had. Oh, and the first thing I thought of with all those purple glitter bricks was an Ilum MOC. Not quite the right color, and glitter blue does exist, but for deeper caves, that purple would look sic! Also not a bad way to use your new satin blue tiles either.

When you showed the pic of the UCS Luke’s Landspeeder set I noticed that the windshield looks very similar to the Mach 5’s windshield. Maybe I’ll make a UCS scaled Mach 5 one of these days with that.

I should go to Germany, I'm trying to get a lot of trans light blue and trans white plates and bricks in bulk for a ocean fight stop motion but it always gets too pricey

Do you fill everything into one big bag? If so how can they tell if you bought more then 100g per element? Seems like a time consuming and tedious task to keep track of the weight of dozens of elements.

Question, if you have less than 100g of the limited quantity pieces are you allowed to put multiple types of bricks in the same bag?
@BenCossyOfficial Жыл бұрын
You don't have to have exactly 100grams of each piece, you can do any measurement you'd like and you pay accordingly. To my knowledge you're fine to mix the pieces into one bag. I individually bagged each type of piece so that I didn't have to sort them later. But it's possible that there may be rules about mixing parts into the same bag, I'm sure the staff want to be able to easily see what you're getting and see if any need to be priced differently. But don't quote me on that.
