Bali really are accommodate all type of tourist, u can get luxury, medium or cheap vacation here. If u had more times and want to save your money. U can really stay longer in Bali just by staying on 10 dollar room near to the beach and eat at local market and local food stall. In local area chicken meal is cheaper in Bali than India, and also in general vegetable dish is consider cheaper than in India.

Hey brother 1- you can book hostels 2-any card will do be it your debit card 3-for water activities you have to go goli island though you ll find many on the beach’s but the fun u ll get on nusa & gilli are unbeatable 4-you do need a international DL but if you follow the rules then no one gonna question and you can ride on ur Indian license
