I met my now hubby later in life on Bumble, it was the first marriage for both of us and we got married at 41 and 45, shortly after meeting because we both knew what we wanted at at that age. I truly HOPE you find the fulfillment you're seeking, the gig you're desiring, and that these daily blogs continue because they’re incredible. I loved hearing about how the couples met. I met my husband of 23 years at a stoplight as I was pulling into a gas station. He asked for my number, and I was just a teen back then who hated pumping gas, so I told him if he wanted to help pump my gas tank, sure. We’ve had our bumps in the road, but I think the best advice I have is to never lose sight of the friendship, remember your priorities, and always try to communicate and listen.

Hey Danna, just a thought, I see there's a unitarian universalist congregation in St. George. That might be a cool place for you to meet very open spiritual people. At the beginning of covid, I made a cheerful, colorful sign that said 'hope' and put it in our yard by the street. I met people walking by while figuring out how/where best to put it and they all loved it. It stayed up for about 6 months before the weather finally did the sign in. I keep meaning to do more signs like that that are positive.

I/my husband/fam are UU’s. Such an open and accepting place. Just beautiful group all over the country and world. We were married my a lesbian UU minister and I love how unlike most organized religious groups; Unitarian Universalists are simply believers in light and love and respect and compassion for all. And the services are filled with all kinds of music from all kinds of traditions (and D is so musical - she could easily play at a UU event … meet like minded folks there)!!

I think in this day and age dating apps are the way to go along with meeting people doing what you’re interested in. But at least on the apps you have a higher chance of meeting someone. I met my husband in high school 😂❤ we have 3 babies and have been married 12 years
@sunshine39146 ай бұрын
Now that one corporation has bought out 99% of the dating sites, they pull all the strings. They hide messages. I know this bc I got to talking to a guy on one years ago, we weren’t a match, but I can talk vehicles, fixing appliances, home maintenance, & analytics. So we did some experiments with a couple of sites for 6 months. Right off the bat, there’s options for women that aren’t available to me & vice versa. That causes contempt when someone thinks you’re not being serious. But then, if everyone was able to contact their dream person, the sites would be losing monthly revenue.
@maliakeliinoi99866 ай бұрын
I think you are correct / you have to be INTENTIONAL. You have to manifest your desires and then intentionally act to attract them. I really feel like we also have to work on being our best version of ourselves and if that is not resolved, then you won’t find the ONE. I met my husband online 11 years ago. He is not my usual “type” at all but I was very ready for a relationship at the time. We have had our fair share of ups and downs and times when I felt like I didn’t want this. But ultimately, we have worked through issues and continue on. No one is perfect, good luck on your search, when the time is right he will come :)

Looking forward to see everything unfold beautifully for you girly!!💖💖💖 at the same time, love, whose to say you where wrong all along though? and that your not single simply because it hasn’t been time yet? 💖💖💖 I totally believe that everything happens for a reason you knew deep down what’s true girl! I’m an astrologist and my spidey senses are telling me your about to reach your time to be with that special somone and that your set on a “ later / late bloom “ time frame which a lot of people are these days especially in our generation. We’re meant to learn and grow more as people before we end up married with kids and choosing relationships that are healthy and real ultimately rectifying how most of our parents ended up and time lines are shifting as in lifespans are expanding plus the biggest upside to this makeup is that it comes with longevity and a ton more stability later on in life because it has to do with Saturn and the Nodes. Later doesn’t mean worse it actually tends to mean being spared from divorce and everything that comes with it more times than not! 💖💖💖 so have fun don’t worry and yes go meet people and know what you want this guy comming up is more then likely for life or the runner up prior 💖💖💖💖 love you! 💖💖💖💖 no worries!!
