Hi I am moving from Canada to st louis for a job. I have no car so I will be traveling a lot on foot and by metro/bus. Can you give me insight on safety. My work place and washington university. I was thinking Central West End, clayton or university city. I am also looking into Clifton heights. I do like high rise buildings for apartments but I am open to other suggestions. However, my biggest concern is safety. Let me know your insight thanks.

Hi there! Central West End or DeBalivere Place would both be good options. Clayton and University City are also great options! As will any urban area there will be more foot traffic of all kinds in any of these areas but I have personally never had a an issue in any of these neighborhoods or felt unsafe. I always encourage my clients to do some research as far as online crime stats though and go with what feels best for you. Welcome to St Louis!
