Kundadrihills:Kundadri Jain Temple Located on the Theerthahalli-Agumbe road, about 12km from Theerthahalli, Kundadri Hill is a gigantic monolithic rock formation. Surrounded by dense evergreen forests, it is a lovely place for trekking. A rough, stone-paved path leads to a Jain temple, Parshwanath Chaityalaya, a stone structure, perched atop the hill. Camping in the open at Kundadri Hills is an exhilarating experience as from the hill top you can see the twists and turns of the Thirthahalli-Agumbe road.

Sunset View Point:Agumbe Sunset Viewpoint is one of the best places to visit in the Western Ghats. This sunset point is a must to visit. For the spectacular views of the sunset, this place is very popular among tourists. The altitude of the Agumbe Sunset View Point is 825 meters. Agumbe is situated within a distance of 90 kilometers from Shimoga, which is the nearest city from Agumbe.

Koodlu Theertha Falls:Koodlu Theertha Falls is a mesmerizing waterfall located near Hebri on Udupi-Agumbe Road in Karnataka. Nestled amidst the dense forest of the Western Ghats and adjacent to the Agumbe ranges the waterfall is the first fall of the River Sita. Jogi gundi Falls:Jogi Gundi is a nice waterfalls to visit when in Agumbe during monsoon season. Jogi Gundi is accessible via an easy trek of about a km from parking area. Forest department charges 100 INR per person to give access to Jog Gundi. You can check this post for photos and other details and plan your visit while visiting Agumbe.While forest official claimed a 300 meter walk, I believe the walk is much longer. At least 300-500 meters plain walk and then another 300 meters down the steps. So be ready for about a km of trekking, which is not really much and totally worth it.
